The next tank we do will most likely be the Easy 8 followed by a T-34/76, but I don't know when that will be as we'll have to put more work into the vehicle model before we can do more tanks.

Great news!

Few things that might need improving on vehicles:

- Own position for bow MG so that it can be aimed and fired independently.

- Vehicle bouncing should be random making hitting from move harder.

- Outside viev (F3) should be disabled, it makes ambushing enemy impossible.

- There should be way to end vehicle mission other than ditch, capture or death.

- Vehicles need own scoreing category.

There is none, especially since the armour & ammo quality varied.  Looking at the various frontal armour degree values in you post I wonder if there is a mix-up in the table.

There used to be two different methods of measuring the angles.  The one I'm more familiar with is the (continental?) european one - 0 degrees is flat horisontal, 90 degrees is vertical.  The other system has it reversed.

T-34 frontal armour is not 60 degrees, it is more like 40.  On the other hand, Sherman's frontal armour is quite steep (and high), almost 60 degrees.

So, figures from various sources cannot always be compared without checking them first.

T-26 - what is it?  In my vocabulary T-26 is a Soviet copy of an 1930's British Vickers 6 ton tank.

Ok, I've heard about an US late war T-26 tank, but it must have been a rare one?

It's the early designation of the first generation of the US Pershing tank, which appeared in small numbers in 1945 and saw limited combat.  It was armed with a 90mm gun, and based on the stats I have seen it was similar in performance and capabilities to the Tiger I, bka Pz VI., with roughly equivalent armor, speed, cross country mobility, and the gun performed about the same.

Well I hope you change your mind and do the T34/85 instead. It is definatly the contemporary of the Easy 8. And one of the best looking tanks of the war.

I saw on t.v. today where Israel used Sherman tanks during the 6 days war.  I think the best feature of the sherman tank was its good gas mileage and reliability.

The Shermans used by the isrealis in the 60s where mostly re armed with either
a French copy of the Panthers 75mm (m50)
or a 100 mm french smoothbore cannon....(m51)
Nice to have either in WW2...
