It is a sad fact, that children pick on other children, sometimes ruthlessly... Especially when they feel that they have an advantage of some kind..
One of the signs of adulthood, is when they feel secure enough in their own skin, that they don't have to do that anymore...

Then we have the BBs factor... Far removed from their target of ridicule, and with no foreseeable consequences, the brakes are really off...

The kid is pretty new, obviously!!!  I guess thats a good reason to slam him around huh?
Probably really excited about this new game he found, wanting to talk with other people who like the game too...
So a bunch of no class lowbelly slime take advantage of the situation, and hammer on him...  WTG guys, great way to show what you are REALLY about...

I wonder how many have kids or grandkids of their own? And how they would feel about someone older, was doing that to THEIR KIDS!!!

Blow it off stealth, next time spend a little time working on punctuation...

I understand this fellow is someone young that is discovering (and is the future of) the genre, and as such should be encouraged.  However, it is going to be very difficult to help him along until we can communicate effectively with him.

My eyes hurt when I try to read that.  Why would I try to read another?

I think the key word in the above paragraph is "communicate", which is quite a bit different than belitteling.

You should also take into account that he is young, and by his own admission can't spell or apparently put together a coherant sentence very well.

But what is his reward for "trying" to become a vocal part of these BBs?

So called "adults",who I'm sure he would usually look up to, pointing fingers and laughing at him.

If it "hurts your eyes" to read it, Don't.

And save the snide comments for the idiots who deserve them.

God knows there are plenty more deserving posts than this poor kids.

Show a little class.

Maybe it'll start to catch on.  :salute

If you could point out my snide comment, I'd appreciate it.

It does legitimately hurt my eyes.  This isn't a snide comment.  Trying to focus in on the thing and make sense of that requires squinting, which hurts when you're staring at a monitor.

With all the people in this game who want and need help, why would I start with this guy?  I can't understand what he's saying.  It's a legitimate point, and the first bit of advice that will get him going on his Aces High career.

I have faith he can handle it.

The "snide" comment was meant for the general public, not nessesarily pointed at you.

After carefully reviewing some of his previous posts, Im starting to think that this kid actually knows what he is talking about. Think about it:

-Torpedos on destroyers and cruisers (could be useful in defense against other enemy CVs and PT boats)
-Amphibious boats and aircraft (amphibious aircraft can add a little variety to the gameplay)
-Addition to another gun in the rear of the destroyer (come on, what harm would it do for another gun?  :devil)
-Flags on the ships (neat little decoration for a change)

I do appologize for belittleing the kid in my previous posts. Despite his punctuation and grammar, he actually knows what he is talking about. Read through his posts again and you may find some logic in there that you mightve missed.

The kid has some great ideas for the game. So I give kudos and a big salute to Stealth in his efforts in contributing his thoughts/ideas to the AH community.

The kid is 12 and into WW2 combat aircraft.

So instead of encouraging him, you ridicule him??

I swear I have never come across a bigger bunch of idiots in my life.

I read these BBs every day and I am astounded at the lack of social skills presented by "supposed" adults.

I don't know how Skuzzy and HTC puts up with you Cretons!

Unbelievable.

I'm in complete agreement.

We should encourage this kid, not have a laugh at his expense. Very poor form ladies, very poor.

How hard would it have been just to explain the mistakes in his comparison with the I-16 and the LA 7 instead of making fun of him because he's 12?

It's not like he told some BS story about some guys that jumped him, stole his book bag and then pulled a knife on them.

Don't use "I'm just 12" as an excuse to show poor effort.

Failing to put forth a minimal effort is certainly not worthy of praise.

It takes very little effort to use an occasional period.

You can not claim to not know about periods.  My first grader uses them regularly.  So, in all seriousness -- at least make an attempt to act your age.

I guarantee if you do, you will be taken much more seriously by the general population.
