The kid is 12 and into WW2 combat aircraft.

So instead of encouraging him, you ridicule him??

I swear I have never come across a bigger bunch of idiots in my life.

I read these BBs every day and I am astounded at the lack of social skills presented by "supposed" adults.

I don't know how Skuzzy and HTC puts up with you Cretons!

Unbelievable.

I think we would be much more amiable with the kid if we could understand what he was trying to say. I know I would. However instead of trying to improve himself, in his other thread he basically says that since he is 12 and cannot spell, we need to just learn to read it. No.

If you can't read it, then DON"T!.

And why would you bother to reply to something you can't read?

Just to make fun of the kid?

Boner makes a couple of excellent points, I think.  Perhaps time for this thread to die?

Yes.

Post validated.....I agree with 1Boner.

In some ways the twelve year old kids act better than the adults. Most of the younger (preteen) kids don't go off on a tirade like I have heard many adults do. The kid came on to post his thoughts in a respectful, albeit garbled manner. Which is more effort than some adults are currently willing to do.

Sad really...

Edit: If you really take the time to try and understand what was written his thoughts make sense. He has a more lucid understanding than some adults I have run across.

I agree with this.  The kid is trying, either do your best to help encourage his interest or leave it alone.

 :salute     I couldnt agree more!

If this kids posts bother you that much, maybe you might help him and quote his post and correct his grammar to show him how "you" think his post should have been written.

Yes, but I sure as hell cannot read what HE is writing. The first lesson for him to learn is to use punctuation marks!

Dont get stuck on how he is writing. Try to read what he trying to ask about. I have children and you learn alot by trying to help them. Dont make them feel bad. If you want respect then you got to give some respect your self.  :)

Most of what he is saying is wrong.

I understand this fellow is someone young that is discovering (and is the future of) the genre, and as such should be encouraged.  However, it is going to be very difficult to help him along until we can communicate effectively with him.

My eyes hurt when I try to read that.  Why would I try to read another?

Bravo! Bravo! There are so many here who could have pointed the young man on the right track instead we get nearly a full page of ridicule.
