I'm forever a lousy shot and still a TechnoDweeb so I hope Orange gets the help he needs from you guys.

Wait a second, not like I disagree with Ghosth...complete opposite.

There is, however, an added responsibility when you are representing anyone's business in any manner.  If it were Ghosth's business, he can talk to any paying customer in whatever way he feels.  It is not.  It is Dale's.

Whether or not I agreed with him, if it were my business, that tag is gone.  It simply isn't his place to represent me and cut down a customer. The customer presented it wrong, but the customer is always right.  If you expect to collect his 180 bucks per year to play a game, you must treat it that way.  It is Ghosth's responsibility to simply show him where he might communicate this with those actually involved in Hitech, where he might fix his issue.

As it were, the tag only implies that Ghosth is affiliated with HTC in any way, and that's dangerous in business.  It gives the mistaken impression that that is the company line, to those that don't understand the difference between a "trainer" and the guys at Hitech.

I really don't mean to offend you by this (seriously!) but have you just arrived, or have you been blind the past few years?

If you feel the way you do, what Ghosth has said is the tippity tip TIP of the iceberg.  It's completely harmless comparatively to other past comments by other representatives.  So much so, that it SHOULD fly under the radar.  Yet it didn't, for a few reasons...  Mainly aggravation/stress I'd guess.

What's more, he's saved more people and subscriptions than that post will ever hurt.

Much ado about nothing.

I agree with Ghost. There are so many whine threads about the update. Trainer or not he is going to get frustrated with all of them (along with alot of other people)

We had over a month to test beta. It is their fault they didn't D/L it and try fixing it then. Instead, some procrastinated and bring it to the boards now.

For those of you who ran beta and have done everything you can - this doesn't include you.

All the tech issues could have 1.) been posted in the correct forum and 2.) consolidated into one thread so HTC staff doesn't need to read through 100 topics in 2-3 different forum sections.

People, give them time. 2.14 hasn't even been out for a full week yet. They know people are having issues, so you can expect they'll do whatever they can to fix them.

I downloaded it and tried it. FAIL. I chose to wait till they fixed it. Let the others be guinea pigs. Unfortunately it was released well before it was fixed due to folks in a hurry to see it.

I prefer to see something more than Microsoft type releases. I realize this is hard to do because of so many types of hardware/software mixes out in the real world. I still don't think you should be berating folks for posting their opinion. After all you posted yours.

While Ghost does VOLUNTEER his time, he's a paying customer as well. And like the OP has, and CAN voice HIS opinion. I think Ghost was easy on him. Compare the other post people have posted.

I think the OP along with most of the other complainers are a bunch of blind fools with the "I want it NOW!" syndrome running full blown!

The new version hasn't been out a week yet and all we can see the crybabies going at it. Calm down, and give HTC some time to work it out. By the end of the month most people won't even remember what troubles they were having, and will be back to complaining about the hordes, ho's and ace pilots.

Read the 4th section down Shuffler, I said they should be in the correct forum and in one thread.

edit: I didn't berate anyone's opinion. If someone is a paying customer, they deserved to be heard. Just in the right format. FAIL.

The boards are the right format. He can post where he wants. Evidently the prior posts in your so-called right forum FAILED. This was obviously released way before it was ready. Microsoft does it the same way. Maybe it is SOP now.

I was here when we went from AH1 to AH 2..... it was not near as bad as this.

Sadly it seems all the games think they need to be more like XBox to keep some interested.

There was similar issues with AH2 when it was released, the bugs got worked out and people enjoyed it for a good long time.

Give it time, the problems will be worked out. Don't kill each other until then, it isn't worth it.

Maybe not for you, but many had problems with it. I was one of those that had problems, tracers of any kind killed my frame rate and brought it to 0.

From what I saw across the boards there was nowhere near the problems they are having now.

I had a few issues that were easily fixed between AH1 and 2.

I'm really ashamed for some of the stuff these posters are putting out. HTC has delivered the update everyone was wanting and most of what I see on these boards are complaints!

i don't know how old you are, but if you don't already realize it, i have your answer.

human nature.

people WILL without fail, on average find SOMETHING in ANYTHING to complain about. even if it was somehting they wanted/asked for.

Shuffler - no doubt the X-Box croud seems to have alot of pull.

You said it yourself though, people demanded the update before it was ready. The same people who wanted a thrown bone are now some of the guys who are upset because it doesn't run perfectly yet.

By saying people who posted their problems in the correct forums (Tech Help + Bug Reports) "FAILED" because it hasn't been fixed yet is untrue. The update hasn't even been out for a week yet.
