A few of you are looking back on how it affected you. I'm talking about accross the board, everyone.

I'm really ashamed for some of the stuff these posters are putting out. HTC has delivered the update everyone was wanting and most of what I see on these boards are complaints!
I held my comments until i looked, listened and read up on the problems I was having. I'm glad I did because just as I suspected there were some things I needed to do on my end to make the game playable. The game is not perfect. Never was to begin with but IMHO it's better then it was. The terrain is awesome, the water and sun glare are just plain cool as hell.

How do you think the folks at HTC feel when you call all their hard work a pile o' crap? I came to this game right before AH1  ended and believe me, what we have now is way better.

If you have a problem, roll up your sleeves and try to solve it. Either that or become part of the problem. You knuckelheads that fill up the boards with this whining and crying does nothing but take up space that could be used to figure some of this stuff out. As it is now, most of us have to weed through all the crap (like this thread) to get answers. Grow up peabrain! (Image removed from quote.)

Well said - coming from someone that obviously has NO problems with the game.  NICE!  HOORAY FOR ME, to hell with you right?

lol - yea I run this game fine...but feel bad for those frustrated by their loss of ability to play.  Pretty sad you dont.  But something tells me you do, are frustrated too and possibly just wish the complaints were worded better?  At least I hope you think this.

It looks like all of the other officers in my squad have decided to abandon the game, due to all of the problems associated with the new release.  Roughly 20% of our squad cannot play the game anymore, including our CO and XO.  So my squad is history.

It is ether convert over to Battleground Europe like they are doing so I can continue to play with my buddies that I like, or find a new squad and start all over from scratch.

I'm really not looking forward to doing either one.    :frown:

They complain about bad framerate or playability and want to change to this ´Massive´-Multiplayer single-digit FPS pile of %&&/# called WW2Online?

 :huh

See you all back in a month  :aok

This is the response an HTC trainer should say

I knew one day I'd be able to say, "I've seen and heard it all".

People, give them time. 2.14 hasn't even been out for a full week yet. They know people are having issues, so you can expect they'll do whatever they can to fix them.

I can give them time if...

the soon-to-be-fixed problems only made it difficult or unpleasant to play the game for a while.

But, not very long when the problems make it absolutely impossible to play the game at all, and weeks go by, and I'm still paying the monthly charge like clockwork.  I know I won't hear the words "prorated credit" for time served coming from HTC.

So, while I understand the difficulties and there are some things I know I will always just have to live with.  There are some things HTC and it's community darlings will just have to live with too.  Like people who don't like to pay for something that was broken by the company that's selling it to them.

I think the OP along with most of the other complainers are a bunch of blind fools with the "I want it NOW!" syndrome running full blown!

The new version hasn't been out a week yet and all we can see the crybabies going at it. Calm down, and give HTC some time to work it out. By the end of the month most people won't even remember what troubles they were having, and will be back to complaining about the hordes, ho's and ace pilots.

I'm sure tone of voice and degree of aggravation could be brought down by everyone on both sides of this issue.

However, though I've spent a few fun hours (sarcasim) of hours reading forum help and tweaking what I can back and forth with very little real direction, consider I haven't played more than half an hour the entire week since the patch, and guess why?  Is it my fault one day I can play to my heart's content, the next day it's a waste of electrons?

Did I screw something up a week ago so I can't play?  No, I didn't.  Did HiTech?  Yes, they did.  I can't fault them for trying to improve their product.  Good for them.  But the reality is, despite any intentions or best efforts, NO product for me is NO improvement.  And I'm paying for it all.

So, give them time?  Sure, I understand that.  But they need something to help them guage the heartache going on.  Some people whine and cry before they are really hurt, but a week of not getting to play the game has cost me in intangibles things like being able to relax, social interaction with squad and friends, and approximately $3.75.  And with no solution insight, and knowing no one will ever be talking refund, no matter how much gametime is lost, I figure I got some right and room to complain, as do others in the same boat.

With 3.75 you could buy 3 tacos at taco bell and have change. Get some water and you have a meal. :x

I downloaded it and tried it. FAIL. I chose to wait till they fixed it. Let the others be guinea pigs. Unfortunately it was released well before it was fixed due to folks in a hurry to see it.

I prefer to see something more than Microsoft type releases.

Ummm... wouldn't the people demanding the upgrade, ready for prime time or not, be the "I want it NOW!" kidz? To hear some of 'em talk you'd think the world would have ended if the update had taken another two weeks. IMO a little patience and a less buggy release would have been the adult way to proceed. I realize the PC gaming industry is aimed at a 13-year-old market, where waiting until Chrstmas or even next week for one's shiny new toys is an eternity beyond human endurance, but one might hope AH2 would be an exception.

As for what I want... yeah, since I'm paying NOW, I *do* want a game that runs NOW. I think that's quite reasonable. If the game doesn't work, why should people pay for it? You have a strange sense of how business arrangements should work, but you have a strange sense of a lot of things, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
