Well, she's enrolled in college, apparently has searched for a job but not found one, and is a military wife.  This is not the most... traditional? ... solution, but at least she's trying...

Being enrolled and attending are 2 different things.  It sounds more like she sent in the forms, but can't afford to actually go to school.  Although, the college should have a free daycare for the kids while she is there.

My point is, just going from this particular article, I'm not inclined to throw her under the bus...  She might seem a little "out there," but at least she appears to be trying.

afford to go to school??? come on chef, there are so many scholarships and grants that she could get. i have to agree with the guys on this one, if you cant afford to take care of your self and your kids, then why keep having them. im sure she gets help from some sort of state funding, they have medicaid that would be happy to pay for her to get her tubes tied. if she really wanted to attend college then she would find a way...im a single mom, i only have 2 kids and can't have any more, times are tough but hell if there is a will there is a way. it all depends on determination!!!
