NEW Luzon is loaded in SEA I

Heads up. The new Luzon terrain is loaded in SEA I so you can grab it before FSO.

It's a 5.73 MB dl.

Give Skuzzy some time and it will be on the download page as well, but check for todays date (Thru 6 Aug) before your dl.

Actually, the older terrain never got added to the downloads page, so if it's there at all later, it's the correct version.

I'm glad I actually tried this today:

The new map downloaded fine, but the game locks up as soon as I log into the arena.  I have no issues with the other arenas.

Edit:  I tried loading the map offline, and the program crashed.

Are you downloading the terrain from the website or through the autodl when you try to enter the arena?

I had dled from website and it worked fine for me and Im on vista!

Try it both ways, then if that doesn't work, post up system specs in tech support forum.  Maybe Skuzzy will have some advice.

2)  Are you going directly into the SEA from a fresh game start?

the first time I went directly into the SEA1 it locked up. I shut down AH and tried it again and had no problems. However, when I went to the CV it transported me 50 years into the future on the enterprise and their was F14 tomcats on the deck.  :

I'm going to try dl'ing it from the website and see if that makes a difference.

Ok, I downloaded and installed the terrain from the website, and it loads fine offline.  I don't know if all of us who had problems tried to install the terrain with the auto-updater by logging into the SEA.

No, even with a cold reboot of my rig, most of the time it locks up on entry into both SEAs.
I see a fps of 1 to 10, followed by zero as it locks up.[/i]

Yes


I should say that sometimes, I can get in but it's random as far as I can tell. I'm locked out at least 7 times out of 8.

I'd had game crashes after auto downloading the Training Arena map, the Coral sea map and 2 other Main arena maps.  Frame rate goes to 0 and I can not exit the game.  I have to push the reset button on my PC as nothing else will kill the AH process.  I deleted my .res files, re-downloaded the problem maps and the problems went away.

I have not tried loading this FSO map yet.
