The new terrain hides them better but there is less of it. Even the barns and structures. The other day I had an M8 hide from me in a barn and it was impossable to get a shot in on him, "from the air". The old game almost always you had some kind of shot.

I'm curious as to what a Panzer looks like sitting in the "trees" on detail-less terrain and skins off. Seems like it'd be sitting in the middle of that big turd smear they call the ground without ANY cover whatsoever...

HTC dropped the ball big time in regards to GV warfare.
That and no hills just about killed the ground war, that is mainly why I quit.

Um...yes, it does. Hit detection is local, meaning if my computer doesn't see anything in the way when I shoot you, the hit is valid. If they left the trees there and made them invisible, it would be impossible to drive with details off (and I can't see them doing that).
