Latest patch seems to be taking steps backwards
« on: August 08, 2009, 08:47:35 AM »
Obviously no viz on if it made things better for folks that had problems, but in my case, I had no problems at all and now the game has become very unstable.

White screen of death twice last night, once a mass dump in the FSO.

This morning logged in and the screen locked up tight again, tho it didn't "dump me" just left me looking at the kneeboard.  Had to ctrl-alt-del out.

Back to the drawing board I hope.

It happens if you were tuned on private channel and that person is not online when you start the game next time.

The log in lockup I had this morning... I wouldn't fit into the "tuned on private channel" thing....

Ditto here.   Twice Thursday early afternoon and said "I'll fly later".   Once last week.   Three times so far I've had the "White Screen/Error Report".

Same here...  Fortunately it was before FSO, and everything ran fine after that.

You guys should upload your dxdiag.txt's to some webhost, so that you can link to em each time you make a report like this.
