Hordes are a blessing of targets in a small area.  It is all in how you approach putting them down... :aok

-log in
-pick arena with the most players
-find base with a green blob and a red dar bar
-go vulch

or....

-find flashing V base
-go sit at spawn and rack up 100 gv kills

game play..........:x......not as fun as it used to be

Try taking a tempest and blowing through them, you should get 2 to 3 kills in one pass.  Just dont slow down, if you have 2 or 3 tempests its even better they wont even know what hit them.

I think a lot of you guys are missing a critical point to this post, which IMO makes it a pretty baseless whine.  (pun sort of intended :) )
Everyone is holding in a horde over THEIR base, they are not offensively hording.  (according to the OP)  Seems to me the easy way to avoid this is...fly somewhere else?  I can't imagine those 20 guys over their base are the ONLY ones in the air...unless your in purp  ;)

Now offensive hording -- that's a different ballgame.  But this phenomenon that you are describing seems far too avoidable to be worthy of a gripe.  Just my thoughts.
