You guys did it, patch 5 looks fantastic ( a 10000000% difference) on my totally shi@ty computer. I knew y'all would take care of us low end hardware guys...

I was pretty vocal when the patch first came out with the terrain looking pretty bad in low detail mode.  It looked like nintendo 64, well that was the joke anyways.  I must say, it looks A LOT nicer now with this patch and my hat is off to you guys for putting in the effort to appease the low end players with this update.   :salute

To all those folks who were stomping feet throwing temper tantrums when the new version came out.

How would you like your crow cooked? Or do you prefer to eat it raw?

With this latest patch I'm now able to run 1024 textures with the hi res pack and still get 74-75 fps...  :x

  New patch has now after investing 100 bucks in a video card, once again
made the game unplayable. My new HD4650 was running it fine for the past
few days. But, since the new patch download, initial loadup of graphics when
in the tower takes several seconds, the sun becomes a large rectangle of
white for a second or two, then ten minutes into flying, the screen just freezes,
requiring an alt-F4.
