Every Amanda, Cory and Lindsay I've ever known was skanky. mUst be something about names ending in Y or I that makes names sound strippery.

Well, the name "Mercedes" is older than the car. The car name came from the human name, not the other way :)

What about this name...I swear it is a NS (No $^&%) name since I heard it called at the mall one day when my middle child was still a baby and the woman was describing where/when/how she named her 6th child that happened to be a girl.

Plancentea....She said she heard the word while she was in the delivery room and thought it would be a great name for her new daughter...#6

I've always thought it would be HILARIOUS to have four kids, and name them "One" "Two" "Three" and "Five".

I suppose mine would be "Red Cabbage" going from the 1st pet & 1st street I can remember.  My wife's would be "Squirt Cherokee" under the same criteria.

BTW, I found out that one of the girls last name is Bolling (pronounced balling) when her mom called to get a copy of a homework assignment last night.  The mom's name is Gloria; which made me think of 'glorious'... :devil

Amanda ends in I or Y?  :huh 

I'd also have to disagree.  Some names are inherently worse than others for some reason, but not those three in my experience.

Names shared with seasons and colors are usually the worst in my experience. Amber, Autumn, Summer, etc.
