SU-85

The SU-85 should definetly get a place in AH.  This was one of the most important vehicles in the Soviet Army.  Does anyone have hard data?  All that i know is this:

85mm Gun

4 crew (Commander, Gunner, Driver, Loader)

USSR's answer to the StuG IV

Was so good that the Germans called it Jagdpanzer instead of armored gun.

Was able to penetrate 100mm of vertical armor at 1000m.

This vehicle is not nearly as invulnerable as the Tiger II.  In my opinion, the next tanks to be modeled should be: SU-85, StuG IV (late-model), M4A3 76mm Sherman.

The whole Su series, excluding the Su-76 and Su-152, are T-34 chassis without a turrent (the T-34 is to the Su, what the PzIV is to the Stug)

The 85mm gun was soon mounted to both the KV (KV-85S) and the T-34 (T-34/85) as soon as the turrents were designed.

Somewhere in this folder there is a link to a Russian armor page with all their AFV (and specifically guns)

They also mounted the 100mm AT gun, and 122mm AT gun (The Su-85 is an assualt gun by designed, but was used mainly for a heavy AT unit, and the Su-100 and Su-122 were built with AT duty in mind)

The Su-152 was a KV chassis, mounting the ML-205, a converted navy gun and was used for a variety of roles.

As with all the monster gun Russian tanks, they didn't carry much ammunition, usually between 15 and 30 rounds.

The Su-100 and Su-122's are the counterparts of the German Jagdpanther (the 122 was near equal but only carried 1/3 the ammunition)

  Well said Jig.....
I think that a turreted AFV would be a little better suited for the next vehicle added to AH tank wise(although the SU-85,and 100 are favorites of mine),a T-34/76 would be a nice addation or a M4A2 they would be relatively well balanced next to our Pzkfw IV.
