Night raids
« on: September 02, 2009, 01:09:21 PM »
I doubt it will happen but i would like to have like a actual night. not the semi-dark thing HTC calls night. And I see no reason why we cant do missions after dark it would be alot more fun to run a stuka mission when it is pitch black out! :rock

It is not the end, it is not even the beginning of the end, but it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.

I was around when we had full night in the MA's, and at least in my opinion it sucked.  Couldn't see a thing and having a good fight was really difficult.

I know 100% that he did it two years ago because I was there. As for last year I was searching for him on the 24th and the 25th did not see him, however one of my squadies said they sow him but I don't remember when.

well your right having a good fight was difficult, but I sure got A LOT of easy perked kills because everyone took something perky and fast to chase HiTech and they were so busy with him that they did not check there own six.  :D

HiTech says no more night. So do Snapshots, scenarios, FSO and offline missions. You ll find night there sometimes. Offline you can fly at night all the time if you want

The only thing night in the MA did was to make everyone turn up their screen gamma to maximum. Lots of burnt CRT at the time.

In the older version of AH, there used to be night.  Only thing that did was cause most of the arena to log until the sun rose again and those that remained to fly in night for the most part ended up cranking up the gamma to see in the dark.
