Least Dweeby plane

I realise least talent to get kills goes to probably in this order:

1) LA7
2) Nikki
3) Spit 16

And really any Uber turn plane like Zero or Brewster if you can get some newb to try and turn with you in anything else.

Least Dweeb though Spit 14 I reckon cos we all know its not at all easy to fly but still got a 1.9 Kill to death in tour 115. So whoever was flying generally had some skill and or talent is my logic.

Take issue with the least "dweeby" plane being a late war monster that cost perks....

First and foremost any plane in the game is capable of being either depending on the pilot.

In terms of performance I would go with the Spitfire Mk1, P-40B or 109E, not counting the D3A.

Among aircraft classified as fighters the least dweeby is unequivocally the P-40B.  It's slow, turns like molasses, can't climb, and has weak firepower.  'Nuff said.

If we think in terms of least dweeby "competitive main arena" plane, I'll go with the P51B.

In the right hands the P-51B is a monster....arguably even better than its younger cousin in some areas.

This is different from hardest to get kills in. I see where your posts are coming from though

I think that bearing in mind the plane is so hard to master and it still get close to 2;1 kill ration and is very unlikely to be bombing GV'S

Out of your top 3 planes only the 16 should be on there.

I don't see very many La-7s or nikkis out there.

Don't think you put much thought into that "top 3' list, because if you did the Punkstang and 190s would have been listed as #1 and 2.

Surely their are degrees of dweebery.

The dweeb ups the easiest plane in the game gets some kills using the planes supperior qualities and then considers himself a superior pilot. His dweebishness reflects his lack of skill and knowledge combined with is penchant for self deception. He is naturally attracted to planes easy to out fly his opponents in like the 16, La7 and Nikki. They are of the point a squirt variety. They reward skill and finnese but are most forgiving of ham fisted oafery  

The first time the Dweeb gets in the 14 is usually the last. He finds Oafery ruthlessly punished BY THE 14 while he is hunted mercilesly to deprive him of his perks BY paks of other dweebs who see the 14 as easy meat and are intent of depriving him of his perks.

Whether they actually ARE the least dweebish to fly or not I think most "new" players will psychologically be drawn to the P51 and the Spit. Mainly because our North Ameican/Wesern European culture has built those 2 up to be the "saviors" of WWII : the Battle of Britain-Spit and the Strategic Air war over Germany-P51. Also they are pretty forgiving in flight for those who are new to this. Those Flight Models that require more skill will quickly be left in favour of the easier to fly/learn on types.

I wouldn't put the La7 or Nikki in that easy to fly well class either (nor 190's/P40's etc etc). P38 might also be a good bet for a newbie with it's lack of torque and centre line main gunnery.

I agree the Spit is a great begginers plane because you can kill stuff sooner with less skill.

It Turns, It Climbs, It accelerates, Lethal gun package, good e retention and recovery, predictable at the stall with godd visibility. Anything goes
"The best close in fighter" (Johnnie Johnson) in the allied camp. (Not the 14 its virtually a new plane in its characteristics no where near as well balances as the others)

51 is no turner and that is where most start and the guns need more than a couple of hits.

I got accused of flying a "Dweeb Plane" when I shot down a Brewster with my 1A in Beta.
