Sounds to me like you have "hit a wall" more than you are bored. You keep doing the same things, and you keep dieing. The suggestion that you spend some time in the TA is a good one, maybe even hook up with a trainer for a few secessions.

Its a shade. I'm not going to ridicule my good name for whining! BTW nicely put.

If you want to quit because you're bored, try a new flying style/bombing style. Jump in any plane, and hit up a hot enemy base, see how long you last. That's always a blast when you're in a spitfire or so.

The Fugative, you are right, I don't want people thinking im a badass that gives tattoos for a living. Thats why I have a shade. And I did not say that I suck at the game or die alot, I just said that I have grown bored of the options the game gives.

I love this game, and I will not say otherwise, im just wondering if I should take a break or not. I think I will, see ya in 2 weeks

This is SO true.  I haven't flown since the weekend after Dayton (July 25th-ish), but every day since then I have found myself on the golf course...EVERY day.  Now that dove season has opened...I might be in the fields occasionally.

I am starting to get bored of this game. I have been playing for weeks feeling like this, and it is just getting worse. I scroll down the fighters list, and one by one, I name a reason why I don't want to fly them, reasons like under modeling, terrible performance in LW, because everyone flys them, ect. Scratch fighters off the list then.

    Bombers? No. I don't want to fly for 15 minutes to bomb something, and have it pop even before I land. Perhaps gunning? No. too tired of the one hit wonders that light 2 of my 3 bombers up on one pass. Scratch bombers off the list.

   GVs? Yes. GV fights are fun, they are the only thing holding me on right now, but they only occur once every 2 hours or so. Attack one of there bases? No. Why would I want to drive for 15 minutes to only be picked by 3 IL2s? Maybe drag out the old osti and take 'em down? Nope, there's an m8 in the trees over there waiting for me to do that.

Maybe I should take a break?
