No there was such a thing. One of the P51B prototypes had a 4 hispano wing. I have a picture of it.

That is entirely possible.

All P-51s with four Hispanos came from a batch of 150 ordered by the RAF. Carrying the North American Aviation NA-91 designation, 53 were retained by the USAAF, where they were designated as the P-51 (no letter suffix). When the AAF finally placed their own order, the aircraft reverted to the four .50 caliber Brownings. These were designated as the P-51A (NA-99).

Hey you P-47 nuts quit trying to shrowd the fact that we want the D-11, you can have your big paddle bladed pig err Hog.  Just remember one show does not make it the grandest plane out there    Wait until they interview teh luftwaffe piltos and show you the war from their eyes.
