Should I be concerned?
« on: September 14, 2009, 04:31:44 PM »
I am meeting up with a squaddie, WMSol, this weekend and he is gonna give me a ride in his Zivko Edge 540T  (I think that is the correct model)  If you have ever watched a RedBull air race on TV or in person you have seen an Edge 540.

His is the 2 seater version and looks something like this.

I have not been up in a small plane like this for 15-20yrs and NEVER in a monster like the Edge.

Should I be concerned?

Hell no man--you should be motivated to the extreme.  Have a great time and tell us all about it once you get back...   :aok

I always found that an empty stomach made me more prone to a queasiness.  Plus, it gives you something to fill the bags.

But seriously, nothing to worry about if you trust the pilot not to do anything dangerous just to impress you.

Have fun.  Don't black out.  Don't fall for the old trick: "Hey, look over there (to the left or right)" and then - G's.

Great advice there.

I will try to remember that.
