HTC, first I'd like to thank you for an excellent update to the PT boat, it really looks great.

The fact you've got the IFF, BN and UHF antennas shows your great attention to detail, and that brings me to my wish.

I'd like to use the smoke generator you have on the starboard-quarter! I think it wold be great to create a smoke screen to help hide other PT's or LVT's during an attack.

And it was used operationally in several theaters, the only piece of info I haven't found yet is how long the generator would run for. Any ideas?

The only problem with this idea that I can see is the mass PT spawn after a carrier dies.. Image the FR killer if they all decided to deploy a smoke screen? Lame.

I like the idea :aok Even  better if we could have a nice sea breeze to go with it, so the noobs just don't put up clouds of the stuff. This way people would have to position them selves correctly before deploying smoke.

Absolutely!

Smoke was one of the PT's most effective weapons, used for hiding destroyer screen, maneuvers, etc.

Yes for smoke screens. It Would also be nice to use the pt boats spot light when we get night time back into the game

We have & had plans for it and did some testing. But simple smoke was not very useful and we need to write a new type of smoke for the pt boat.

Also notice the smoke canister is on the pt boat.
