Wirble turret got you down? Here's a quick fix......

Here's a quick fix!

Step one: Get a Wirble or the dreaded OSTYOFDDDOOOOOOooooooommm.

Step two: Start the Wirble up and drive it out.

Step three: Leave the Wirble in 1st gear and let it keep moving at about 5mph.

Step four: When a bandit approaches from a direction in which your turret is NOT facing simply use your rudder controls to turn the tank around until your guns can be brought to bare.

Step five: Blast enemy before he gets you.

Step six: Woot!

See.....easy as pie.

Also Wirlbe users should note that hitting moving tanks with bombs, rockets and to a lesser extend bullets is slightly harder when you're moving then when you're sitting still.

But I don't understand. If I'm sitting still, won't he think I'm moving creating an overshoot where I can kill him with my 20mm's?

I personally believe the ostie...1 hit 1 kill

To say about the wirble issue...get a PT they fire lots of guns at once now and they look pretty too and as far as I know they turn fast.

if its to shoot bombers, the Ostwind is your friend.

Rudder turn in a moving vehicle is great for getting your guns around fast in GVs with slower turrets,especially tigers,wirbles ect.

hum.....I would think the higher rate of fire for the Wirble would put it above the Ostie. Oh well, in game I think the Wirble. still holds the number one spot, just for the stated reasons.
