Agreed. Its mainly because of 9/11 theorists feeding misinformation as of late. Seeing as such people also tend to believe in UFO's..............

Remember until about what 20(?) years ago, Christopher Columbus was the first European to step foot on the "new world"...now we all know better...everything we think we know about history changes as new evidence is found.

That's why I thought this program was going to be interesting, until they dove into all that Freemason Invented History nonsense (the ONLY connection between the Templars and Masons is in the minds of the Masons). The Norse had Greenland settled for over half a millenium. They had a colony for at least a few years on the North American continent itself beginning around 1000AD, and had discussed the probability of returning for permanent settlement into the 14th Century.

I prefer to read to get facts.

There are a great number of books out there about WWII aerial combat and ground combat that are
factual and outstanding.

If you need some titles just ask.

Yeah I haven't seen any substantial evidence of actual ties between the Templars and the Masons...most of what's being said is pure speculation. Did you see the show on the Illuminati? On that one they speculated that after they were pretty much wiped out, "secret members" of the illuminati infiltrated the Masons.  :huh Supposedly there are some Mason rituals and symbols from the Illuminati.  :huh

Yeah, just like there's supposed to be Templar rituals.

Agreed. Its mainly because of 9/11 theorists feeding misinformation as of late. Seeing as such people also tend to believe in UFO's and cryptozoology(Bigfoot, Nessy and Chubacabra) The people at History decide its a good idea to try and increase there ratings by appealing to that market for many time slots.

I don't believe in those things you listed above however I do have serious questions regarding 9/11/01.  I don't think it is such a bad or evil thing, I just don't buy the official commision report on it.

As far as the "History Channel" goes, LOL!!!  Just the name is a joke these days!!!  But you have to remember who the parent company is, and how they are COMPLETELY OWNED, by ppl of a certain political persuasion!
The LAST thing they want to do, is portray Americans as heroic historical figures... So they avoid it!!!

I could go much deeper into this, but Skuzzy would nail me with the banstick....!

Your first mistake is assuming "history" started in 1776 in Philadelphia.

No, but not all of it needs to be reevaluated and repackaged every time we decide there's another ethnic group we don't want to offend either. Some of our history has been rehashed and muddled up so much its almost impossible to tell whats the truth and whats propaganda any more.

Kinda funny you say that:  I saw a program on netgeo regarding the "peak oil theory" and how they tried to rationalize $4.50 per gallon we paid 18 months ago.  Now they made 2 new major discoveries and peak oil theory some say is a fraud.  Point is it was propaganda to justify high oil prices.

That's not propaganda. That's just greed at work.

When gas prices go up citing falling production due to natural disasters, terrorist rhetoric or whatever excuse they come up with that week, and then the oil companies report a MASSIVE increase in profits, you know something's rotten.
