I have to appologize.
First of all I owe a sincere appology to Skuzzy, HT and TilDeath. I let frustration get the best of me and mouthed off big time. I fully understand Skuzzy pnging me for a month. Skuzzy, I was going to send you an e-mail to appologize personally but thought it might ring hollow so decided to just take my medicine.
Second I have to appologize to all of you following this tournament for getting png'd nearing the end of it and not being able to bring it to a timely conclusion.
I apprecieate all those who were worried for me. It's true that not one single person in this community has my personal contact info including my squaddies. I expect one day I'll just fade into the sunset.
On a positive note I simultaneously took a break from the game. I've only flown a handful of sorties this month and only spent a few hours playing. In a way absence from the game and the boards has been refreshing.
While I was away worrying about the resolution to this tourney I seriously hoped the review committee would pick up the ball. I really expected my board status to change to png making it obvious what happened. Evidently that wasn't the case. Thank you to Jerkins, Nisky and TC for picking up the ball in my absence.
Finally congrats to moot. I only wish I'd been around to post the final bracket and been the first to offer an official
Oh... BTW... sign up for the next one starts Sunday (Sept 20) and runs for two weeks. I'll start a new sign up thread.
