Bofors AA gun.

This sounds like the most practical variant to incorporate as a "GV":

"But the main self-propelled version of the Bofors was with the gun set on the chassis of a Morris Commercial four-wheel drive lorry. Such guns were used in support of Army divisions to provide swift protection against air attack without the need to unlimber. this was known as the "Carrier, SP, 4x4 40mm, AA (Bofors) 30cwt". They saw service in North West Europe, where six SP Bofors of 92nd (Loyals) Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment, Royal Artillery, landed with the British 3rd Infantry Division on Sword Beach on D-Day to protect the vital bridges over the Caen Canal and Orne River (Pegasus Bridge and Horsa Bridge), shooting down 17 German planes. Later in the campaign, SP Bofors were used extensively for ground shots as well as in an anti-aircraft role. In British army service the Bofors found a highly specialised role: during the North Africa Campaign at the Battle of El Alamein, they were used to fire tracer horizontally to mark safe paths for units through the German minefields."
"Crikey, sir. I'm looking forward to today. Up diddly up, down diddly down, whoops, poop, twiddly dee - decent scrap with the fiendish Red Baron - bit of a jolly old crash landing behind enemy lines - capture, torture, escape, and then back home in time for tea and medals."

What you want is the M19. It would be perked most likely but it had twin 40mm Bofors.

This gun was used on the crusader, more surviveable.

Beat me to it.  Yes, the Crusader mounted Bofors would be the right choice.  Then we'd probably get the Crusder too.

A few Bofors stats:

Bofors 40mm AA Gun:
Caliber: 40mm
Elevation:
ROF:  120 rounds/min
Muzzle velocity: 881 m/s
Effective range:  12,500 ft
Maximum Range:  23,600 ft
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

I was specifically NOT asking for the Crusader because it said the truck mounted variant was most common and I presume could be taken out easily simply by fighter aircraft strafing...which would be a balance for its lethality and alleviate any need to perk it...

But hey, Crusader wouldn't suck either.
