I used to buy the Mach 3 stuff. My wife found the generic replica stuff in bags of 5 razors for a couple of bucks.  Shave wise the are just as good as a name brand.  I shave every day before work.  No shaving cream, just water. Each disposable lasts me at least a month. All this with a wiry, but not thick or full, beard (if I didn't shave for a month I'd look like I had mange).

i don't like the way electrics feel on my face...and they don't seem to get me as close or as fast as a hand razor.

Amen.  Not a fan of the Fusions.  Currently using the Quatro which does a good job.  My favorite is the Sensor 3, but its hard to find.  I can only find the old 2 blade Sensor.  I've found the Sensor 3 a few times and stocked up.

Beards are itchy and not worth the annoyance.

I use the Gillette Mach 3 Turbo, or whatever it is called when I have to shave. Of course, I only have to worry about a wimpy mustache when I do shave, so that might explain why it has lasted so long. When that wears down, I plan on getting a Braun electric, as the one my dad used has lasted from the 1980's to five weeks ago.

That's funny.  My girlfriend was pushing me to go full beard though.  Some women are cooler than others.

Good!  Sounds like you're learning wise time management early.  After a few years you just won't have the energy to keep that sort of thing up anymore.  Enjoy it while you can man.
