The Korean War started less than 5 years after the end of WWII.
We have a war every 10 years so to say the Korean War relates to WWII because of the time frame is irrelevant and really the Korean War relates to the Vietnam War more so then any other because the Korean War was between the North v.s. South Koreans as the Vietnam War was also the Northern Vietnamese against the Sourthern and the U.S. was allies to the Southern Vietnamese. They both were more so a civil war v.s. a world war conflict
The Vietnam War or the Second Indochina War was a Cold War military conflict that occurred in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia from September 26, 1959[1] to 30 April 1975. The war was fought between the communist North Vietnam, supported by its communist allies, and the government of South Vietnam, supported by the United States and other anti-communist nations.
The Korean War is a war that started between North Korea (Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, DPRK) and South Korea (Republic of Korea, ROK) on 25 June 1950 and paused with an armistice signed 27 July, 1953. To date, the war has not been officially ended through treaty, and occasional skirmishes have been reported in the border region.
The only reason why I put this post up is after the korean war arena is up someone was start hollering for a vietnam arena and so forth. After the World War I arena (I'm looking forward to this think it will be fun) I would suggest to stop worrying about making more arena's and focus on more the arenas we already have user friendly.
