That's what I hear though I worked with him recently in an ad hoc beasting of 3 ponies. He was in his hurri, I in a Seafire II. 3 Ponies tried to work us over and we killed two, sent one home to tell the tale. I didn't hear him get abusive with the dear bish but that's the only time I've worked with him.
Agreed, in general, that smack-talking is only occasionally appropriate. I did it once to a K4 that was hanging around at 30k and wouldn't come down to fight. I climbed up in my own K4 while taunting him to come down and mix it up. When he got within the edge of range, I took a wild-assed tater shot upwards and was gratified to see him come all to pieces. That was probably the luckiest shot I've ever fired.
As he fell I typed the following: "How do you like me now?"
I still chuckle over that.
Generally, the worst I ever get post-fight though is a simple touche' - if it's someone who's killed me before more than once. I did that to Shiv - a respectable player who had killed me acouple of times before. I've gotten a couple of salutes lately. I always return 'em. Losing isn't bad - flying badly is bad. As long as I don't do the latter, i'm okay with the former. One day, I hope to be completely auger-free but, when you're really pushing it down low, it's tough.
