How about the Kriegsmarine Flottentorpedoboot 1939? Although the only good information I have been able to find is on wikipedia

Most sites I've been on only give minor details claim its a destroyer size ship, comparable to the British medium destroyers and armament wise it's comparable to the British L and M class destroyers. The Kriegsmarine classified it as Fleet Torpedo Boats and not a destroyer. 15 were built by 1944.

Neat feature would be sea mines. Could be placed in front of a fleet or shoreline capable of destroying lvts, pt boats, and of course fleet ships. Have a life span of 30min before disappearing. Also to avoid people laying mines in a nice line, locked together mines would have to be placed 50 yards apart in a circular radius.
