Well job last night Rox.. Yes , the cm team of fso is a great team.    I was frame 2 cic, for my 4th time. I sent Baumer some pms as well.   Remember  talking to Daddog my first time I did it. HE exchanged phone numbers and helped me out with my steps to CIC.
You had frame 3, a frame in which you have to step on toes sometimes by asking people to fly the same rides ..  I thought you did well, congrats ....    :salute

Ty Tuk!  <<<<<S>>>>

It was an EXTREMELY eye opening experience to be a rookie CiC!  It is also a very humbling experience!  baumer's sound advice on investing plenty of research hours in going back on a squad's prior assignments as well as researching their MA strengths was well worth it. I made every effort possible to change up each squad's ride based on prior FSO assignments.

I learned that some assignments were agonizing to make, only because of FSO research as well as some squad's MA strengths made it impossible to give them differing assignments because it was glaringly obvious that those squads could/would get the job done in a fighter or bomber role based on their hugely past successes at those assignments.  In a way, that is a huge compliment to pay.

There were many squad assignments for Frame 3, ESPECIALLY those squads who got B5N2 assignments who recieved those orders expressly because of their past success in getting through and getting the job done...I had faith in them because of their track record in FSO and MA...as well as personal respect I had for their squad.

Yeah, that is a compliment to them.   <<<<<S>>>>>  :salute   :salute

And from the preliminary data available on the FSO reports, they all achieved their objectives!  (THey all kicked butt!!!)  How often does that happen?

It must have been due to the excellent escort of the Mongrels.  :devil

Had a blast as usual. Had to log after the first hour though. I'm certain I shot Vulcan down, P-40 flying straight as an arrow....

Ohh jezuz you got your bald backside back in FSO. What next... world peace? :D

I agree wholeheartedly GREAT FSO :aok :aok :aok :aok

best times in AH are in FSO for me, I know I am relatively new (I think this is my 6 or 7th one) but I totally enjoy it!!

even though I die almost every time,  :cry

I can only imagine the time and effort, those that put it together, actually put into it, sick, and to think they don't work for Hitech.

:salute you guys, you  :rock. :joystick:

Good scenario overall <S> to the CM's.  I'm not much of a fan of some early war scenario's but this was a pretty even match up over all.  Unlike many scenario's you had to think your way through this one.  If you didnt you died fast and probably didnt enjoy it much.

Frame 01 (Zeros in defense) we got destroyed to the man taking zeros against the B17's and putting up a kamikaze defense over our field.  Result we all died early and the bombers circled the field for 20 minutes dropping bombs.

Frame 02 (Zeros in defense) we left the B17s alone because very few could hit anything much with any result unless they got low in big group and carpet bombed.  But we turned our attention on the P-40s and destroyed them almost to the man and landed 3/4 of the squad at the end.

Frame 03 (B5N's Strike Package) Had a B5N mission, we divided up the squad and sent in 2 low and early to pull the cap down, then massed with other squads for the main effort and then sent 2 in late frame for clean up.  We all died of course because it is the B5N  :D but we we got hits and some guys made a second strike.

Like I said you had to think your way through this scenario which was the challenge to any squad planner.  How best to keep the squad alive.
Didn't hear anyone in the 325th VFG complaining and they all took the challenge on for each frame.  Again kudo's to the CM's for giving me something to do on Friday nights  :salute

You came across us AK's.  We were the only defenders for A91.  Your plan almost worked except the main force was to far behind the first strike.  It gave us plenty of time to get back up to yas before u got to target.
