My wife thinks it's cute.   :aok

Most chicks do...  I had a 1974 version when I was in college, had a few girls want to "ride" with the top down...  So to speak...   :D

The '74 was fast too...  For such a small car, it had a crap load of power, with a pretty good top end.  I had the '74 up to 135 on the Interstate once, the car started to float a bit.  Scared the crap out of me!

The '83 I have now isn't so quick.  It actually has a slightly larger bore engine then the '74 I had, but it has been crippled by emission systems and a different gear ratio in the back end.

Still really fun to drive, and my Fiat will eat any MG on the road!  HA!

Well...  My toy won't do 100mph in 10 seconds...  But it's certainly a lot of fun and not nearly so "common" as a Vette.  Fine Italian automobile...   :D

Nice car Dave!

Italian cars are fine machines. Here is mine. Very old and very cheap these days, nearly falling apart. Nothing a lot of love and attention wont slowly sort out.

shes beautifull to drive.  :D

Nice Alpha Bat!  They do require a lot of love, but honestly they are pretty sophisticated machines.  My first Fiat was a '74 Spyder...  It had a very powerful DOHC engine, 4 wheel disc brakes (remember 1974), an early form of ABS brakes (still 1974)...   A body designed by Pinifarina coach works.  All this competing with Brit MGs that consistantly choked on their crappy duel carbs!

Fine Italian autos, to be sure.

Well i cannot speak for dave but i DO have to whipe the inside windscreen every time I drive because the heaters don't work and the condensation in winter is terrible!
Dave, I feel very lucky to have this car right now, but it is funny. The price of insuring and maintaining this old car is actualy way cheaper than if I was to get a modern family car with the same size engine. Not to mention that this makes driving a pleasure, not a task. I expect it will die sooner rather than later I just hope to get one good summer out of it.
