Best shot with a revolver I ever saw was a rather beautiful ex-member of the Women's Royal Naval Service. She would sit in the yard while we boys blasted away, then walk up to the firing line and ask her husband 'please load me some hi-power in the .44 Magnum', aim and rapid-fire all six rounds into a group of generally less than two inches from twenty yards, check empty and hand the pistol back. We'd spend the rest of the session trying to out-shoot her.

She was a mean hand with rifle and pump-action shotgun too.

My 15 year old cousin can out shoot most men, stupidity is taught and performed by both sides. Behind most of the woman stories I can show you a man laughing while proving to the world who the real idiot is.

oh i agree with you on that one strip, Gun safety was lacking in all those Videos, none where trained properly to use the guns, Dammed if I'd let anyone shoot around me that wasn't instructed on how to properly shoot a firearm, there lucky no one got killed, especially with that 60cal nitro flying out of his hand

Women are just fine with guns. You wouldn't be any better at it than a noob female if no one ever showed you what to do. If you've never fired an AR-15 and someone just hands you one and says figure it out, odds are you will. But the odds of you screwing something up pretty bad are fairly high.

Let my girlfriend have a run at the XD .45 yesterday and she handled it fine. Taught her the ins and outs on my Sig Mosquito.

The Sig is tame enough with light loaded Winchester rounds, almost to the point of being a repeater. Taught her how clear jams, and keep her damn finger off the trigger while she does it, heh.

Now the XD...let her have a few shots with just one round, then made it very VERY clear that it WOULD cycle with more than one round. XD sitting around 600 rounds with any sort of failure. And she was doing full fledged 13 round magazine dumps within 6-7 seconds, and all were on paper at 10 yards.

The Sig...hehe...I love it, and it'll loosen up after broken in. But they like CCI high velocity ammo, and I'm feeding it Winchester White Box Hollowpoints during the break in period. It's just so cheap and fun to shoot, great little gun.

Sometimes, we just need to remember what the rules of life really are: You only
need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the
WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

Yeah, I'm going to blame the guys in most of these.  The 9mm was a big step up for my girlfriend, I made sure to just load one round so she wouldn't send rounds flying everywhere.  She enjoys the Walther P22 though.

Folks, play nice.

I saw that one coming by the way she had the shoulder stock placed against her arm.  The guy teaching her is an idiot.

I have a rather extensive collection of firearms, mainly due to the fact that my wife enjoys shooting ( and the fact that i work at a gunshop / indoor range  P/T to support my addiction  :D) . One of her favorites is my Ruger Blackhawk in 44mag, scoped with a 10"bbl. At 25 yrds she will group 6 shots in an inch and a half group.
With my Wilson, and my Kimber ( 45acp ) shes even better. And dont even get me started with my IPSC gun.

My father was a weapons instructor for the Maine State Police for years, and he always said that the women he instructed were ( 9 times out of 10 ) better shots than the men, as they would listen to his instruction, and follow it to the letter, whereas the men would have the preconcieved notion that " Im a man I know how to do this" He would always stand back and smile when his female shooters would out qualify his male shooters.

Huge SigSauer fan myself Toof, all my primary carry guns are Sigs.

I watched a rather small woman get knocked- literally- on her butt by the recoil of 12 gauge back in the Academy (we use the Remington 870P, old school with no upgrades). Instructor just walked calmly over, took the weapon out of her hands and said "No". She proceeded to sit on the bench and cry the rest of the afternoon.
Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.
