Hello All,

I have been playing AH for a couple of month's now and I have noticed that some important plane's are missing. I feel that there should be some more bomber's and some fighter's for all of the countries. The American's are missing two of the most important plane's in the B-25 Mitchell,B-24 Liberator and the B-29 Superfortress. Also the American's are missing a few fighter's that should be added. The P-39 Airacobra and the Hawk 81A-2 Curtiss Hawk,which was the Flying Tiger's plane. Now as far as the German's,they need the Ju-87 Stuka,Dornier Do 17,Bf 110 and He 111. The Japanese are missing the G4M Betty which they used more than any other Japanese bomber. But in all realness they need more of everything. I'm not really sure on what the Soviet's need but they need more aswell. HTC should do some research on these plane's and other plane's that you other pilot's suggest. Sooner or later they will get added.

If anyone else has any opinion's on this,please feel free to do so. Your opinion count's just as much. Thank's to all who take the time to read what I had to say.

So Yanks need a late-war bomber but Germans do not need any bombers made after 1941?

do a P39 with russian markings, or am i thinking of a different plane...

the russain version of the c47, basicly the dome on the top has a machine gun, as well as 2 waist guns,there is a third one that i think is in the tail, slightly different engines, could also carry bombs, just replace the c47 to the li-2, as i doubt any1 will fly c47 after the li-2 is put in.

I agree we'd need a german bomber, say Heinkel He 111. Max speed 270mph, some defensive armament and can take some bombload too; 1 x 2000kg (!) and 1x 500kg or 8 x 250kg bombs. OTOH lack of bombload on german bombers is one reason we'd need a fighter-bomber like Me-110G-2, which is capable of dogfighting (hehe), jabo attacks and bomber busting. Multirole fighter with good weapons.This surely would be popular at MA due the ground vehicles. It was capable to carry many different weapons like:
- 20mm cannons
- 30mm cannons
- 37mm flak cannon
- Rockets
- Schräge (sp?) Musik. Yes G-2 didn't carried those, but it'd be relatively easy to make 2 110's: G-2 and F-4, no?
And after all Me-110 is damn good looking and you'll look kewl in it, just like in jug!

And of course we need an american fighter, say P-47N ooops, sry I ment P-40, which would make nice addition to early war plane set. And for later war plane set: X-XXN

There is also a real need for carrier planes.
There are no Axis carrier attack planes to be had and there are a couple of important US types missing as well.
IMO Here is what we need for a start:

SB2C HELLDIVER
F4F-4 WILDCAT
D4Y SUISEI "JUDY"
B6N TENZEN "JILL"

Abridged rant:

We have enough US stuff, do the math let the others catch up, unless were are talking sea planes/flying boats then add a Coranado.

Germany has a ton of stuff as well, but neads a late war buff He 177, and some weapons ordance loadout options for the Fw 190's and JU 88, mabby a Me 410.

Brition is well represented, curentaly, that is to say it has a nice ballence of ftr and atack and bomber's modeled curentaly, might be nice to see a British sherman added.
Or a buff varient of the Mossie.

Japan, their is a ton of planes that could be added that would compeat nicely in the MA.
The Peggy is coming, hopefully we will get a Japanese carier cpaable atack/torpedo plane,Jill, or Grace(Grace would be best imo),their are so many great ftr's to add, Jack, Frank,Tojo,Randy,Ki 100, Rex...

Italy, How about a Cant Z. 1007, Re 2000 series anything, G 55, SM 82, P 108, Italy neads a care package asap

Russia,Rumor has it a TU 2 is in the works,and hopefully this will come true

A Russian tank would be nice as well.

If you're going to suggest a German bomber and twin, the He177 and Me410 are much better choices. Why we would want a 1937 bomber (He111) and a 1938 zerstorer (Bf110) is beyond me. He177 carries a decent load, has very good defensive armament and might survive longer than 10 seconds in the MA. A He111 would get less use than the Ju88, and would be even easier to kill.

One important reason for the He111 is for early war scenarios.

Late war scenarios are always going to give the Axis a hard time. Out numbered, out gunned and behind in resources, it's no wonder.

I'd imagine Axis fans would appreciate earlier scenarios when the Axis forces had the upper hand. Be nice to see them catered for, and of course it brings us one step closer to the Battle of Britain

It is hard to imagine a WWII sim lacking the Stuka too.....

I spend 99% of my time in AH in the MA,while adding planes for scenarious is a cool idea I think killing 2 birds with one stone is perhaps a better use of HTC's time when it comes to modeling buffs(they take about 4 times as long to build as fighters, or so I have been told). If you are looking for a Buff for Germany for early war scenarious we have one already the JU 88.
Dont get me wrong I am for the addation of early war planes, It is just important to pick ones to back that would be competave in the MA, for example look at the I 16, it is slow but manuaverable and cary's rockets bombs and 20mm canons,or the IAR 81 same catagory,A6M2 type 21, ect... P 108, or Cant Z 1007 would be two early war buffs that would be competave in the MA.

We all have our favorate rides it is just that some of theam are not a good choice for addation to the MA, at least not at present, some of the reasion behind this mmay be their performance, or because of redundancy( a similar type may already exist B 17, b 24 for example), or because of modeling time, HTC cant turn out a lot of buffs do to modeling time comstranits, their is also historical relevance to account for, I dont expect to see the He 162 any time soon, or the Ba 65 for that matter, playabality is an issue as well i would love to see a t 34 but it's lack of an AA mg gun may make it undersiable for use in the MA.
