I don't care about ganging, it happens, it's part of the game, people just go where the easy fight is.

Here's one I don't understand though, last night in blue, we Knights were getting rolled on both fronts (fine, like I said, part of the game)
I checked the the country status periodically  (cause I was actually hoping rooks would get the reset soon, was sick of that map).

Here's what I don't get.  Even after the Rooks had their 40% from Knights, they continued to focus all they're efforts on us.  If they had turned on the Bish they could have easily won the war.

Is it like I said before, they just go were the easy fight is, and don't care about winning, or what?

i've noticed(more since i started playing low numbers) that there's a couple squads that i ALWAYS find above me. there's one or 2 that i always find medium to low alt.

 in general, the fights seem to be moving up in mw.

 i was stirring the pot last night.....on auto climb. 27k(  ) i go level onto auto pilot. looking for the red guy i know is below me. guess where he was? above me. i climbed to 30k, and was co-alt. rather than fight me(it woulda been spit9 vs 38j) he chose to dive down to the buffs that were down at 10k.

I will say that the rooks had 40 more than the nits at one point.

The bish around 25 more.

When rox said I was worthless, I told him I could always go fly on the other side. He said good go fly with those losers. I was going to switch to one of the other sides when I landed but rox logged.

He seemed to have a short side kick, a mini me one might say. Bigred was following extremely close behind his fearless leader.

I'm thinking part of the number issue may be that folks don't care for armchair generals.

But the hording bases with 30 and 40 guys is just pathetic. I see most of the hording from the bish. Not saying any names. But youll always find the same people in the same crowd doing the same exact thing.  

+10 here. At the first sight of an enemy con that they can't vulch, they all run home!

I tend to notice the same Golfr, but typically if one country is super low numbers in one arena; chances are they are hording the heck out of the other arena.  

In the past month I have only had a handful of good fights, seems everyone is looking for quick easy kill.  I had a really nice fight with Grizz the other night, I seen his 109 in fight with another Bish, so I patiently waited till he deplaned the other Bish.  In the end he still got me, but to me it was a fun fight.   I think anymore I look for the smaller dars vs mega furballs with the picks, HOs and runners.

It seems every time I log on Knights

I didn't even need to go on as soon as I got here

For some reason Knight country channel (maybe not more than the other country channels but I have to doubt it) is always full of one of four things;

1: ROOK & BISH GANGBANG OMG
2: ENY SO HIGH OMG GAME RIGGED AGAINST KNIGHTS
3: OMG GAME RIGGED AGAINST KNIGHTS I WAS ONLY 800 YARDS OUT HOW DO I SHOT GUNS
4: MISSHUN UP/OMG KNIGHTS PORK THE ORD YOU GUYS SUCK YOU NEVER WORK TOGETHER >:0

I usually have to squelch 3-5 people a day, not because they're cursing or getting into political arguments over country or whatever, but they won't shut up about the war. It's not even that I don't like the people, the constant whining just gets ridiculous.

Funny thing is that I hear the same things over 200 from people on other countries occasionally... and the knights will turn around like it never happens to anyone else (#1 that is)

A couple weeks ago people were complaining that ENY was approaching 20
Knights made up over 49% of the arena. Nearly half. Complaints continued after I pointed this out, of course...
A few days ago (yesterday maybe?) people were complaining about Rook-Bish peace... of course, when I brought up the map there was full darbar up and down the Rook-Bish front 

A big part of the problem (IMO) is that, on the knights side at least, there are a large amount of squads and people who should certainly know better who propagate the myth that the game is rigged against the knights. A lot of new players come in and see the people who organize missions/ take bases (which is a big draw for new players before they explore the game) complaining about this nonsense and then they believe it themselves. The whole thing just turns into a gigantic whine/feel bad about yourself fest.

Probably half, if not significantly more, of the people in the game will just go wherever to find a fight. They don't care about the war in any way, shape, or form. The war is just a real estate game that resets every week at least. Once you win you get a sortie's worth of perks and then it starts over. Many people would rather spend their time having fun that mindlessly porking and going after bases.




To be honest, if I could squelch country channel, I would without anything approaching hesitation.

It is not fun for me anymore either, UNLESS I am being attacked by at least two cons, but 3 to 5 is better, and when they attack in a uncountable "horde" that is when the blood really starts pumping

If this is true (I think your partly right, but got the percentage way to high, and completely forgot about bombers), how come the DA is not more popular?  Whenever I go in there it's usually pretty dead.  Lots of bases in the DA seem to never get used at all.  How come people don't move in there at one of the medium or high alt base pairs and start a fight?


I think it's because more people looking to find a fight, (as you put it) are actually looking for a lopsided horde they can join, or a field they can vulch, or low planes they can pick.  

In short I think there are more people simply looking for easy kills, then looking for an actual fight.

i know. in the past, when i've been on the same country as him, i've tried to mention to him, that he was gonna get himself chatbanned. tried to help him out. he's actually a pretty decent guy to fly with.
 he just takes this stuff tooooooo seriously, and goes off the deep end.

 that's why when gaf was tryin to get a 1-1 ......gaf in a c2, him in a pony.....i kinda told him gaf is a spit dweeb, and sucks in the c2....tryin to get him to fight.
 gaf knew i was screwin' around.......but it didn't work anyway.  

I don't think anyone was upset with him.  The game - any game - needs a little talking

Because the DA is a cesspool populated only with former H2H players who couldn't fight their way out of a paper bag. The only useful thing to do in there is actually set up a 1v1 duel and hope it isn't interrupted (of course if you go more than 1v1 the aforementioned idiots seem to think it's a free for all and jump right in).

The other problem with the DA is that there is no variety, and shooting down bombers and whatnot is actually fun. The purpose of the war is to encourage fighting after all- it's the means to an end (the end being the fight). Unfortunately some people seem to think it's the other way around.

I know of only one dedicated bomber squad in the game, and the impression I get from them is that they fly for the fun of it, and the 'fight' in their own way, and not so much about winning the war. They seem like upstanding guys to me.

There are definitely specifically guys going for this too. However, if I had the choice between vulching/ killing tons of low cons and flying to an undefended base and capturing it, I would definitely go for the former.

I am a rook and pretty much only attack bish. Mainly b/c I can find more fair fights with them. Everytime I fight a knit I either if not all together get ho'ed, ganged, or picked. I rarely come across a good fight with a knit.
