Im not a Conservative and Im certainly not a Liberal, I think either title/affiliation is limiting.  I hate any form of Political Correctnes. But I do belive in decency and respect. In fact I dont like using "Jap" myself, but Im really annoyed how you jumped on people who did, like you speak for all Japanese people.  Its a bit arrogant and presumptous dont you think?

GRUNHERZ,

I simply passed on a request from others.  I never I assumed that I was speaking for anybody.  I was simply informing a poster of an earlier request that he might not be aware of.  Then you and a bunch of other anti-PC guys so fit to jump all over me for my presumption the request that people be polite.

Wotan,

Whatever.

You know nothing about me or what I think of those you mentioned.

a quote by Karnak

Quote
Here is an example:

quote:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Heres a thought how about an "OKL" for ah. We could set up a web page that is designed specifically for axis flyers in ah

Luftflotte 1 .......knights

Luftflotte 2 .......rooks

Luftflotte 3 .......bishops

We could have volunteer axis pilots serve as trainers ie a Erganzungsgruupe that help new guys (or guys like me who need some training) to develope into the next group of experten. Squads who are currently looking to add new members could go to this gruppe for recruits.

This could aid us in special events and the like.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What about the Sentais? Are the Japanese aircraft not Axis? What about the Regia Aeronautica squadrons? Are they not Axis?

This is a pet peeve of mine, but come on guys, German or Luftwaffe does not equal Axis. I even saw one guy complaining that it wasn't fair to the Axis that the Allies had the 3 most popular planes in the F4U-1C (before the perking occurred), N1K2-J Shiden-Kai and Spitfire Mk IX.

Here it is, laid out plain:

Major Axis Nations:
Germany
Japan
Italy

Major Allied Nations:
Union of Soviet Socialist Republics
United Kingdom and its Commonwealth
United States of America

Got it?

he goes on

Quote

You can simply say that you like German or Luftwaffe aircraft, but you insist on speaking for people who like Axis aircraft. Even the ETO has the Italians as well as the Germans.

The Axis was three nations, just because somebody like German aircraft doesn't mean that is the sum total of Axis aircraft.

I like RAF aircraft (well, most of them), but I'm not overly fond of USAAF, USN or VVS aircraft, but I don't claim that British aircraft are the sum toatal of Allied aircraft.

The conceit I am speaking of seems to only aflick some of the fans of German aircraft, but no fans of other aircraft.

The original thread was started by St. Santa in the general discussion Forum. Search you will find it. Karnak in all his indignation starts a whole new post to point out my improper generalization and in it he adds his own.

Then when Zygote/pyemia quit stating his dislike for spits, nikis and la7s Karnak again reverts to his geberalization

Quote

I see a whole latta roadkill in that post and a few valid complaints, Zygote.

Take it easy, maybe you'll find your Luftwaffe dream someday.

Pyemia/zygote rarely flew lw planes and whenn its pointed to karnak he replies

Quote

I don't even know why I bother.

I am sick of seeing the type of crap that people like Zygote put out. You seem to like others to do your dirty work, and then come in a look reasonable while you defend them. I was wrong about his particular habits, but that doesn't change my opinion of his statements.

It should also tell you something about the most rabid of German aircraft fans that his statements are so readily attributed to that group.

I would understand your take on me better if I always argued against things for German aircraft, but that is not the case. There are many times that I have argued for improvements to the German aircraft in AH as well as additional German aircraft to be added.

Another clear generalization. It should also be noted that all his negative generalizations fall on those who fly lw or who hw thinks flies lw.

We all remember his post about lw elitists in the ct ruining it for because of the negative generalizations about "sissyfire" pilots.

Do I need to paste it?

You are right I only know you through your hypocracy on this board. You're always quick to point to others but you in turn do the same.

The "I am so sick and tired of you insulting lw elitist who exclude everything that you don't like.......blah blah blah" is your MO

Gruen maybe be impolite but I think he would concede that.

and the "I am not refering to all lw just the the ones who state their opinion" is about as valid as all sissyfire pilots are dweebs.

Wotan,

That's very nice.

Maybe you can also dig up the threads where I've posted information in support of German aircraft and where I've posted against Spitfires.

Nah, that would make it look like I might not be imbalanced.  Can't have that now, can we?

I'll give some examples for you:

I posted this in support of RAM's statements about the Fw190F-8s missing loadouts:
Quote
Fw190F-8
Number produced: 385

Photos in book with:

Fw190F-8/R1 with 300 litre droptank under the fuselage and two ETC 50 racks under each wing, each holding a 50kg bomb (4 racks and 4 bombs total)

Fw190F-8/R1 ground attack plane was armed with two supplemental 130-round Mk 103/30 cannons in addition to two MG 17s and two MG 151s.

Fw190F-8/R1 with four ETC 50 bomb racks beneath the wings (two each) and an ETC 250 rack under the fuselage, occupied by a 250kg bomb.

In a table titled:
Fw 190A, F and G Umrüst-Bausatz Factory Conversion Sets*

U1 Fw190A-8/U1 - two seater for conversion training, also known as Fw190S
U1 Fw190F-8 conversion for use as Jabo-Rei long-range fighter-bomber
U1 Temporary fitting of BMW 801C in place of -D(A-4 only)

Then it moves on to the U2 specs, ect.

There are many more intersting specs listed here and I will post them later if I have time.

I posted this as a request to make the Spitfire MkIX more accurate, it would reduce the Spit IX's capabilities:
Quote
The Spitfire Mk IX in AH has, by Pyro's admission, a Merlin 61. This means that it is a Spitfire F.Mk IXc. The Spitfire F.Mk IXc did not carry .50 cals. The Spitfire F.Mk IXc did not carry rockets.

HTC, please remove the option for the Spitfire Mk IX to carry .50 cals and rockets. Please rename the the "Spitfire Mk IX" to its accurate designation "Spitfire F.Mk IXc".

Please give the Spitfire F.Mk IXc an appropriate droptank, not the German 300 litre droptank that it has now.

I posted this as a request for changes to existing aircraft, the majority are German aircraft:
Quote
Fw190A-8:
1: Have the option to carry 4 MG 151/20s in underwing pods

Fw190D-9:
1: Have the R4M rockets as an option

Fw190F-8:
1: Have the option to carry 1 160kg bomb under each wing
2: Have the option to carry Panzershrek rockets under each wing
3: Have the option to carry Panzerblitz I rockets under each wing
4: Have the option to carry 3 55mm AP rockets under each wing

Il2-M:
1: Have the option for the 2 37mm cannon
2: Have the option to carry cluster bombs

Ju88A-4:
1: Have the option for 2 1000kg bombs
2: Have the option for 2 1000kg bombs and 2 500kg bombs

Ki61-I-KAIc:
1: Have the Attack option enabled

Me262A:
1: Have the R4M rockets as an option

Mosquito Mk VI:
1: Have the 2 500lb bombs in the bomb bay as an option
2: Have the tailwheel deploy and retract

P-38L:
1: Have the 2 2,000lb bomb option

Aircraft dont really matter I talking about folks you classify and catagorize folks just like everyone else. But when you disagree with those generalizations you simply respond with your own as if they were any better or any more correct.

I never said you have an aircraft biased and if you did so what? I have my own ac bias and its pretty clear.

I am not the out there making a point to show where others use "unexceptable" generalizations by responding with my own.

I have mine you have yours but you wouldn't waste a second to hit the bbs with a "I'm tired of xxxx".

I see what you're saying, but I don't agree with all of your conclusions.

I didn't make the "I'm tired of ..." post without thinking about it for more than a second and I certainly didn't do it because of something that had suddenly happened.  It had built up over quite some time.

I'm not trying to get any aircraft nerfed and I'm not trying to get any of the aircraft that I don't care for perked.

Wotan,

Answer this:  Why do you think that many of the most vocal fans of German aircraft and relatively few fans of other aircraft persistantly post attacks on other player's choice of aircraft?

I'd use a Spanish example if I could think of one. Does it never occur to any of you guys that some people would fly the Spit if it was the worst dog on the block? Why not? You guys like the A8.....

How do you answer Seeker?  Does he have a valid objection there?  I feel that he does.

Why should we have to put up with this kind of constant crap?  I have never called a 109 or 190 by any derogatory slang terms.  I don't have anything against fans of German aircraft.

I do have a problem with people who constantly demonstrate a massive bias and will only see one side of an issue.  I can see how you would say that this applies to me perfectly, and you'd be right in some ways, but can you see how it applies to people like MANDOBLE?

I happen to like British aircraft, especially Spitfires.  However there are remarkably few people who post to this BB that will defend them and point out the gaping holes of logic used in most of the efforts to remove them from AH.  Spitfires are popular to hate on this BB.

As to what GRUNHERZ was complaining about, well, he misread me, my assumptions and my intentions completely.  I angrily refered to him as one of those "ilk" based on his incredibly far right posts in the O' Club.  Forgive me if I don't take a liking to somebody who seems to think that I'm a traitor because of my political beliefs.

I'd like to see both the J2M3 and the 4 12.7mm machine gun version of the Ki44-II.  The 40mm cannon version would be neat to, although very difficult to hit with.

Both aircraft serve the same roll, interceptor, and both went in a new direction for the Japanese, speed and climb over manuverability.

Most lw pilots in all the games I play actaully fly the aircraft because the are  FANS of the planset. Much like jug pilots or to some extent f4f f4u f6f types. They are more vocal because imho they want and believe that the planes should be flown and perform just like the real thing.

Spit and la7 and nikis are flown by what I call "fast food" pilots. They dont care about accurracy and history or tactics they wanna get as many kills as possible in the shortest time.

Thats why very rarely do you hear calls that the ah spit ix  be right or that the proper model be introduced to AH.... they kill in it and they are happy. (i believe you posted a thread once that ask this same question)

Thats not a credit nor a blight on them as individuals thats just how it is. (of course there are exceptions).

Since I've been here since tour 1.02 most of what was called lwhining was true nikis too much e, f4u weight, d11 weight.

You would be hard pressed to find a post started by me whining about what plane ya fly or this is uber or porked. Erlkonig, Leitwolf,  AG and till recently bradys5 are/were in my squad how many lwhines have you ever read from them?

But you have np lumping the "elistist, biased, lwhiners" together do you. Perfect example read pyemia/zygotes I quit thread. You even went as far to imply that some lw encouraged him to post his comments so they could shift the arguement from them.

And your pal seeker this was one of the 1st posts I ever read by him

Quote
And this:

"Im Auftrage der Reichsbahn (By order of the State Railway)"

Refers to the Florida state railway, I hope, and not to the German state railway's most documentated and involuntary "customers"?

what do you think he meant by that? Seeker throws Nazi around more then you throw lwhiner.

He does even fly spits and why is it relevant how he "feels" or you "feel" about things? This is just a game and if your ego is so fragile that "shitfire" or "sissyfire" or "runstange" or "la dweeb" or "niki dweeb" or "run90" upsets you so then your probrably gettin a little to involved.

However "nazi" is pretty offensive because it has real meaning out side the game. I bet most lw guys hear that quite a bit.

But see thats beside the point. When I hear comments like that I dont run to the bbs with a self-rightous attitude then turn around and do the very thing you accuse the "lw" of doing.

I dont care what plane you fly or how you fly it or how you even feel about it.

I just thought a little light shined on your hypocracy would be good.

Hmmm.

I have not seen you request the removal of offending aircraft, but I do see you judging others as well:

I'm a "fast food" sim pilot because I happen to like the Spit?  All those who fly N1K2's are the same, La-7s as well?
That's a bit harsh.

I find it hypocritical to group those players in that light and group players who fly the P-51D, P-38L and Bf109G-10 in a much more positive light.  None of those aircraft reach the top ten without attracting a large group of players who use each aircraft for the advantages that it brings them.  There are certainly Bf109G-10 players who care not a whit for the 109's mystique and instead simly want its climb rate, 30mm cannon and top speed.  The P-51 ommission is particularly annoying.  Last tour the P-51D was the #3 aircraft, ahead of the La-7, and the tour before it was #2 by beating out the N1K2 as well.  Yet it is never mentioned in these "How do we limit the ?" type of threads.

As for Seeker, I came across that statement in a thread I was browsing.  I know nothing of his other statements.  I absolutely do not support the term "Nazi" used to describe sim pilots.

I only use the term "luftwhiner" when I get very, very pissed.  Urchin managed to get me to use it last when it grossly distorted what Nashwan was asking for in the "Spitfire IX is too slow" thread.  I never used the term in MANDOBLE's "D-9 invincibility / efficiency" thread even though it was a very frusterating discussion, nor did I use it when RAM was going on and on about the Fw190F-8 in Frenchy's thread about the last patch.  I actually backed RAM up in that thread.  Look to S Wulf for that term to be used.  I am guilty of using it in the past, but I decided that it was unfair and that I should not do so.

I happen to think that many valid points are brought up by people that S Wulf labels "luftwhiners"

I readily admit that I find people who only support advocacy for certain aircraft to be vexing.  I just don't understand that point of view.  How somebody can be so fixated on that one aircraft.  I like Spits, but that can hardly justify trying to get other aircraft removed or nerfed.  I want to see all aircraft modeled as closely as the AH model allows.
