cute birdie!

my best friend has this crazy kind of parrot, not sure what kind it is, but the damn thing talks! it argues with her, i think she is crazy for sitting there arguing with a bird! it calls her names too!

Cute she maybe, but in terms of trojan horse she is the biggest one ever. She is a fierce bird, Im 6'2 and she does not give ground to me. lol I would trust her over a German shepeard. When someone is outside her squawk can raise the dead.

I'll see if I can find the picture of myself buried under 400+ lbs of Malamute :)

A funny dog story since we've never really owned "cute" dogs, always working dogs. But my mother volunteers at the local pound and came home last Christmas break with by far the ugliest dog I've ever seen in person, and it was a long haired chihuahua to boot. The darned thing was in awful shape, he'd been brought in by a bad owner who just dumped it at the pound instead of taking it to the vet. Well it had been beat up by a bigger dog, and survived but with torn up ears and a blind eye. The poor thing was beaten by the owner and still cowers to this day if approached too fast. Had been fed who knows what kind of food, so his teeth were rotten and had to be removed. This caused his tongue to pop out awkwardly because he could no longer keep it in his mouth. And finally, the old owner had never taken his little dog coat off so his fur had been rubbed off from the top of his head all the way down his back. Only some under hair has managed a comeback. Despite all this though, he is such a nice and easily trainable little dog. Just loves to lay on someones lap and "cuddle" all day. We're currently trying to find him a home with a nice old lady. I'll get a picture of him up real soon too.

awwwww....well its good to hear that there are people like you that are able and willing to take in a dog that was less fortunate. i watch animal cops all the time and it pisses me off with the things that people are capable of! i luv my dogs, they have brought alot into our home that we have not had since my samoid chow and husky (his name was reefer) passed away. its been since feb 20th 2007 since reef has passed away. my dogs are spoiled..thats how its supposed to be right? :)

here is a pic of my rugrats and reefer before he died because of that stupid dog food recall....

Was great flying with you guys last night, Great looking dogs Betty! Here's my roster... lol

Here's the meanest critter in my house, he's a 3lb large mouth bass named Mook, I've had him for about two years now. Sounds crazy but he's as smart as a dog and is learning a few tricks even.

This is the nicest critter we've got, her name is Chip, and we've had her for about five years now. She's hand tamed but really timid around strangers, total cheesecake junky.

This is the second meanest critter in the house, Fidget. She's my co-pilot.

We also have a four foot Iguana that isn't very friendly, two other cats that I don't have a pic of on hand, and three chickens that we inherited, if it wasn't for the eggs... lol
