Paladin3 talk to any of the 2A members.  Most of us are nice guys, I am the exception to that rule.  Our primary bird is the Hog, but we will fly what it takes.  Our original idea was to have our flight leaders branch out and start their own squads, but that has not happened Come on over and talk to us. Our website is 2D`amendement.com, Take a look at it and get with one of us.  All of our names are 2Asomethingorother.  Look forward to seeing you.

Dhryan I completely agree with what you said. I used to be dead set against leaving Rook but at this point I just want to see whats out there.
.....
Dhryan I may add you guys to my list of folks to track down and fly with if that is ok.

You can put us on the list if you are above 21 and if you have a focus on pure fighter engagements. We LD don't take bases, and a KD of 2 and more is nessasary

I'm l-o-n-g past 21 and can't take a base but my last K/D tour score was over 2 - my word, I qualify for Loose Deuce membership!

But then who'd drink all the Duxford Wing's scotch?

This seems counter-intuitive.  Unless you mean "kill" instead of "meet."  And "kills" instead of "friends."

Just kidding, Shuffler.  A don't-quit-my-day-job attempt at humor.

I have to say I support Paladin3 in his "quest" for a good squad or to start one.

I'm not as know out there, but maybe the in game name "Ghostie" rings a bell. I always tag along with Paladin when when he is on.
There are several reasons for that:
1. He is a great friend, he got me into this.
2. He has taught me allot and still is.
3. His in game goals intrest me: Keeping the game as real as possible in all ways.
4. You don't see many of players out there who give up their possible kill to clear your 6.
5. Tactics and strategies are keys
6. Much more...
(correct me If I'm giving a wrong point here Paladin  :))

It would be fun if squads gave a yell before they did something, and I don't mean missions alone.
Ex. Organise a fighter sweep or for a bombersquad to call for some escorts.
Like mentioned before, some squads could be an addition to another but it has to be know that it is possible. So give a yell when you are planning something.

If you see 2 Rook Pony's linked up, it could be Paladin3 and Ghostie.

Hope to see you in the sky.

squadrons are about friends, commitment, loyalty.  To have a group of people to have FUN with and share the good times.

squadrons do not find you and you shouldn't need a squadron for the sake of having one.  These friendships are built up over time and acceptance should be earn't and not given away cheaply.

Helping, training, learning new skills comes as part of that.  Why should squads try and get others involved?  Hordes can get pretty bad as it is.  Have you tried running missions fighters or bombers?   it can be quite tedious after awhile.  Why would you want random people messing up well laid plans.

who cares about base x,y,z chill brother  :)

"We few, we happy few, we band of brothers; For he to-day that sheds his blood with me shall be my brother"

good squads start from the bottom and are built all the way up to the top like a brick wall.  If your foundations are poor it will crumble.

You can't find the squad that fits you if you don't get the chance to fly with them...
I'm not saying there should be a MASS invite. I think only the intrested people will show up anyway...
Like I said, it does not have to be a posted mission...

well you talk to them.  Observe who does what and whether that fits into your gameplay enjoyment.

The goto function from the roster can take you to what base they are using and .wingman name will highlight them on the map.  (a little stalkerish)

Make yourself useful and impress upon the extremely good looking CO and you will get vox channel invites and then maybe more.

cc guys trying some different new stuff, we don't fly all time spit16  :D

well, new LD Pilots must have a KD of 2, its just to make sure, that the difference of personal skill level gets not to big
