Can we at least get tossed a bone and make a couple WW1 era planes available in the TA? Kinda like the rv8 is available? Just asking

I'm excited.  It might actually get me playing more again.

I really hope they flush it out a bit though with some bombers and GV's.  Four fighters and three bases is just going to be another furball lake with different planes.

BTW, here's a pretty cool WWI site:  http://www.wwiaviation.com/toc.shtml

I am looking forward to it.  Those guys were the original flyboys.  :airplane:

Don't think it will ever replace or even equal my passion for, and interest in World War II aviation and history, but it should be fun.

and...

...choices are nice.  Hats off to HTC.

After reading up on this thread, my 2 cents is that I think the WWI arena will be heavily populated by the pilots who love true dogfights, pilot skill vs pilot skill, plane vs plane. Basically a place to go and get away from all of the pilots who are concerned only about stats. I feel it may also have a tendancy to weed out those afore mentioned pilots for those who love a good fight, because after flying a high performance WWII fighter for so long going to a machine with top speeds less than 200 mph and no radar will seem uninteresting since their stats will suffer until they get used to the new planes in which case they will just leave it alone and stay in WWII. Just my thoughts, I could be wrong.
I know I can fly and I know I can shoot, just not at the same time.
