Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo

The entire movie is available in 15 parts each about ten minutes in length.  Not HD but still good enough to watch full screen.

The Mitchell B25 Bomber won an Oscar for Best supporting Actress in this film!  Well....not really, but she should have!

Well worth the time if you have it.

My niece started loving prop job planes after watching that movie with me. The story of the Ruptured Duck

I like that it is based on the book written by Doolittle Raid pilot Ted Lawson about his own experiences, who also consulted on the movie.

It's a great film.

I actually kept checking that book out, over and over, when I was in elementary school. The librarian got to the point where she wouldn't let me keep it anymore. Also used to watch that movie every Memorial day. I actually found a DVD in a pawn shop, and my nieces and nephews will pop in my "old movies" whenever they come over (I'm the cool uncle with all the weird stuff). Mya actually cried during the scene when the old Chinaman presented the sandals to Lawson. I'm surprised no ones made a skin for the Ruptured Duck.

I have a copy of that book that was given to my dad when he was in Jr high school 1943.  Its a bit torn up and needs the binder reglued, but I believe its from the original printing.

I just read a book on the Doolittle Raiders. It brought up this movie, and said it was the most accurate one done, with just a few exceptions.
