all the drug lords make up there military

... if and when we are eventually attacked, it will be over the border with mexico. Path of least resistance. Just pay a couple of pesos to the so called police and military there. You can put boots on the ground and build up the equipment just over the border.

The best way to invade this country would be with a few well placed operatives within the federal government that would push policy to devalue the currency and make guarding the borders ineffective.  It would take a long time but could be accomplished without firing a shot.

I bet the Feds are gonna pay you a visit now for leaking that info.  :aok

Well that could be said about any modern country, the only places that wouldn't work is on a 3rd world nation, but who wants to invade them.

But a large part of our military command is shielded against EMP, so they'd still have to deal with them.

Trax, most of our military is hardly close to being hardened for an EMP attack.  Command centers might be, but the sheer disaster that a coordinated EMP attack on this country could wreak is beyond any comprehension.  At the very least if three weapons were detonated in the atmosphere across the continent, 95% of the civilians would be without any form of modern power or conveyance.  Very shortly there after, a massive die off would occur.  Fighting back would be pointless especially considering we might not know who perpetrated it, and how then does a nation without any means of conveyance, supply it's military, let alone it's populace used to daily supply.

I was turned onto a book called "One Second After" by some others.  It is a highly plausible scenario of just such an attack.  A good read if you have the time.

I would need a VERY good reason to travel south of Flint and ONLY reason I go there is that my Mom and Dad live in Lennon and my company's district off ice is on Miller rd...

Are you living in the Flint area?  I was born and raised there.  Would love an opportunity to settle down back home, but I'm afraid my line of work will never permit that.

Well then you also have the rest of the UN and NATO to deal with, along with our over-seas forces and navy; you'd be hard pressed to capture us.  The country itself might be defenseless, but anyone with the balls to take us on will hardly be considered harmless.  Even if we lose, someone's probably going to take you down, one way or another.

On the other hand, we could just nuke the country to grey dust before you could take it.  :noid

Yeah I only meant the command, I know that everything else would be gone, but if we had to have one section remain intact that would be one of them.
