In a way I see where Vinkman is coming from. A while ago Lazer decided to try his luck at a streak, I found him 1 vs 4 otd so I dove in to save him and didn't mind if I died. Albeit he soon ended his streak because of a lack of patience 
My personal goal in AH is to just have fun, which is why you see me organizing IL-2 raids on HQ with I-16 escorts or other random acts of silliness. I think streaks would be a bad thing considering I am personally trying to have fun and find it frustrating when a guy disengages when starting to lose an advantage and runs away.

WTG Kaz  I went 19-0 my last tour in less than 3 hours and I was in trouble a few times but wiggled out its fun trying a streak just to have fun, and not fun to you does not mean "not fun to me"

I was online today and check Kazzas' score and to my surprize he's only ranked 5th in fighters? I just don't understand that. His K/D at the time i looked was 186 kills no deaths, and kill times were quick. like a .005 quick. The scoring system around here just doesn't make any sense to me  

It would stand to reason that his stats would merit a #1 ranking. Seems like a no brainer to me <shrugs>

Well ranking in each category is based on more then just your k/d ratio, now he is ranked #1 in that category, but there are 4 other categories. 

If you go to the AH home page, under "Community" is the scores & stats page where you can look up a pilots score and see his rank in each category.

Also, not sure what you meant about his kill time being quick, that's not a category.

the speed at which you rack up kills is added into the score somehow. For example if i kill 3 nikis in .001 and you do it in .002 with the same plane, you'd have the better score based on the fact that you got your kills faster.

That's kill/hour, but presented in a different format  (actually: time per kills) than on the scoreboards. But it's always better to stick to the web scorepages when discussing here.



Bruv is currently #1, Kazaa #4 (shown #2 and #5 due to a sorting glitch), and in the picture you can see why Bruv has the higher rank.

Well it really has nothing to do with what plane your in, like Lusche said thats just your kills per hour stat, it just calculates how many kills you have and divides it by how many hours you've flown that tour.

no way, not when I shoot more accurate and have 12595.22 more fighter points   =  more kills !  

Plus i'm better than him

98 people have better accuracy than he does.......    Why should he be #1? K/D is one small portion.... GREAT EXAMPLE.... I am ranked #5 in K/D  Yet, I only have 6 sorties.  My K/D is much better than Bruv's........ Why ain't I #1?  Oh wait, because so much more is involved.  Bruv has MUCH better aim & accuracy (Kill hit % = accuracy / Kill Points = aim)  It takes alot more than a 186 to 1 kill to death ratio to be ranked #1.

ALSO..... Kills per hour of flight?  Did anybody look at Bruv?  He is higher than Kazaa.  What point are you trying to make?

It takes alot more than a 186 K/D ratio to be #1.  


No..... It means more damage done to each plane.  Kill points are like damage points for bombers.

more kill points   =  more Damage !

On one hand you have me, unkilled this tour in fighter mode thanks to my untouchable SA! On the other had you have Bruv, flies to the nearest vultch fest to pad his fighter score before RTBing for tea, medals and WTGs. You must be out of your bloody mind to think this southern softy is a better cartoon pilot than me!!! The person with the highest KD ratio without dying should automatically go to the top of the list without question![/sarcasm]

But on a serious note... The feat which I achieved this tour, in my eyes, was something more special than gaming the game for #1. I'm sure Bruv would agree with me here, he's already done 250 for 0 in Fighter Ace.
