Cause it is so slow and high speed handling is bad.
It is hard to kill a ZEKE if it is constanly turning, especially if u in a B&Z like the ME262, FW190 or P47.
But most of the time deflection shooting is the key to kill a ZEKE, dont try to follow him, estiminate were he will be, bring ur nose there and fire when u got the right angle.
Also the ZEKE is not very tough. If u fly i.e. a DHOG, the good initial turn rate of the HOG allows u to cut the ZEKEs flight path and let off a burst of 0.5 cals that normally shredders the ZEKE to pieces.
One other factor why the K/D of the ZEKE is so low is, that it is often used as last ressort base defender, due to its exellent flying time with 25% fuel. But such a base defender is often outnumbered and therefor his evasive move to one nme will put him right infront of the guns of another attacker. Or he is simply shot off the runway when he tries to take off.
