ok fine von messa and all you others here do your own red baron skin. All im doing by allowing parts to show through is giving it weathering.

Actually you're stealing the weathering that Waffle made... do your own if you want to make a skin.

Not my 1st choice.  Rather bland for my taste.  Nobody is trying to say they want to make that skin.  They are saying that you should make it by all means.  We just want anything you choose to make to be the best that you can do, and original.  Regurgitating someone's hard work (or regurgitating ON it) is not going to cut it, nor will it be accepted.  We are all trying to save you the hassle of a rejection email.

That good enough?

Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.

The cross on the fuse and ruddr were not the "iron cross" shape. They were just a typical "straight up, straight across" on the Baron's DR1. Also, the cross on the fuse had a white outline of the black cross. It all depends on which of his you are skinning I suppose. But, the one I saw on page 6 is horrid.

The attachment elaborates on the crosses I mentioned. It's the real thing by the way.

I hope Skuzzy does not allow you to put Richthofen's plane in here looking like that. The crosses are wrong, the cowl is incorrect, many many problems. If you continue to skin the Baron's Dreidecker, which I strongly encourage you not to do, please do more research. Find pictures of the real thing. Very big controversy on what his plane looked like (DR1). Don't believe just anything, do some mad research. I have his autobiography and he said about his DR1 "I'm still a little annoyed at the fact that the insignias on my Dreidecker have changed from that of my D.Va." If you look at his Alby you will see the old-fashioned "iron cross." He even says HIMSELF they changed. Get to researching my man.

He's not saying he wants to do it.  He's saying do it right, or don't do it at all.

No, what you have to do is make a skin completely from scratch and not steal Waffle's work.

No. If you are going to make a skin, it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to make sure YOU research. No one here in Aces High wants to see a historically inaccurate skin that also looks like a piece of work using a paper towel and a crayola.
