The best fights I ever had in AH were mass numbers on mass numbers.  Trying to keep SA and still be on the offensive.

The very best was a mass numbers on mass numbers in which I was flying a Spitfire Mk IX.

this is true

me and a few others where killing this guy last night and he kept whining about being picked vulched and what ever. however when you get on his six he runs to his ack. no worries i still had fun racking up the kills off of him. anyone here will tell you, keep the advantage in a dog fight weather it be 1v1 20v20 20v5 or 1v5 what ever it may be keep the advantage. this means keep more E and alt than your con. IN your situation you kept upping from a capped airfield. not a smart ideal. you should have came IN from a distant base with some alt.

Once all the gangbang or run twits left, last night was a blast... <S> I haven't had that much fun in a while, fighting both you & LodeCH.... good times....

To all others and how it relates to Jonah's post....

Many people last night were fighting and most people were staying way from 'dweeby' behavior... for ex... Lode would see 4 guys on a con, and he would stay out... rather than risk kill shooting himself trying to get an assist. This actually lead to better 'combat' because you didn't run into a case where there was no one to fight in your area because there was 10 guys chasing 1 poor guy on the deck half a sector away...

Forgot who said this while trying to take a base, but the quote goes like this. "I cant help you with ack, Im not in attack mode" This is with only 2 ack up in the town while troops were there, waiting. The rest of the town was down.
