so what causes to loose perk points in one of thee tings?

First of all, re-read you posts and correct errors before you post, that will do wonders for the respect people give you.

Second, crashing the plane or getting shot down causes you to loose your perkies just like all the other planes.  Or put another way, not successfully landing the plane will loose you your perks.

In a perk plane, if your flight ends with anything other than a "You have landed successfully" in the text bar, you lose your perks.

Sure, but you can only partially blame the auto take-off.  It's designed to work a certain way and that can cause problems in the jets.  If you're flying a jet, I'd advise taking off manually or taking control at the end of the runway.  It's best to build up enough speed in the 234 before putting it into a climb.  It might try to do that roller coaster thing trying to get speed built up and that can run it into the ground.

Yes. Ironically I had that happen to me today (one of the rare times I let it auto takeoff).
Hill at the end of the RW, gear up at the end, slid into the ground.

You lose half on a ditch
HOWEVER, each bomber must ditch.
Example: You take off with a formation 234s at 50 perks a piece. 50x3 = 150. All 3 must ditch for you to get 75 perks. If 2 ditch and one crashes, you get 66% of half of your total perks spent (50 perks).

HiTech should hire you as a QA tester.  It seems that each time you die,  you seem to find some glitch in the game that caused you to die.  Before it was raising your landing gear in a Tempest that caused you to die and now it's the auto-take off.

Think his post was more along the lines of risking the points to let it auto take-off...if something does happen...like my hill incident.

In that case, I just wasn't paying attention...the sad thing was...when I neared the runway and knew what was going to happen, I just sat there and watched the gear raise and slide up the hill. Then I realized I'd lose about 20 perks. :rofl

I don't think it works that way. You should lose your full perk payment if you don't get a safe landing.

Now, what you've described sounds more like the multiplier for "perks earned in a sortie" rather than "perks paid in a sortie"
