Well call me Musashi! (Poem I wrote about Musashi and IJN)
« on: April 03, 2010, 08:22:11 PM »
Well, I was bored, so I decided to write myself another poem  :D I hope everyone likes it!
WARNING: For those of you that are anti-religious, THIS POEM IS NOT FOR YOU! :old:

Well call me Musashi!
If I used to be the King of the Sea, how was it I was powerless before He?
If I had the power to obliterate men, how was I conquered, was it beacuse of Him?
I had the guns, the armor the might, but His Will did prevail and it will every night.
My men were the best standing out from the rest, but God's men have sunk me like I was a pest.
The Imperial Navy was the prime Elite, but God, with the U.S.brought it to its feet.
The men although loyal were with the wrong cause, and God had no mercy, not even a pause.
For God is Almighty and backed the US, with Him we were faithful, for that we were blessed.
Pearl Harbor was grim and a nightmare to boot, the Imperial Navy did show it's fine brute.
But God laid his fist down right there and then, the Imperial Navy would soon see its end.
At Midway the Japanese tried it again, but this time defeated by God and his friends.
The faithful were now truly showing their hand, and building their might to bring war to an end.
Japan was not finished or giving up yet, Yamato was finished with her sister ship.
The battleships roamed to the gulf of Leyte, but God and his allies had quite a field day.
The Musashi fell without peep much less yell, 17 torps 19 bombs penetrated her hull.
Yamato would sink not very long after, with a swarm of planes causing her end disaster.
The two greatest warships to ever leave port, were crushed into ruin by God's holy work.
America proved to be the stronger band, because they asked God just to lend them a hand.

In Jedediah, a man can dodge and just survive anything just because he reads the Bible.

I'd assume you're talking about the battleship Musashi...

It was named after an old samurai,  Miyamoto Musashi.

Look him up, you'll probably write a new poem.  ;)
