Quick perk making question
« on: April 05, 2010, 08:31:59 AM »
I was just wondering if it was still worth driving a hole sector in a whirble to kill down strats.. or is the perk bonus just not worth it?

Best way to make tons of vehicle perks in a Wirbel is to up repeatedly into the bigest horde of attackers you can find.  It's fun, it's furious, and you will gather a lot of perkies rather quickly. :aok

resupplying bases is still the easyest and quickest way for perks (always has been). For points to your GV score its hit% so taking a WW or M16 to a strat still helps, you just might not get the perks you want.

Huh learn something new every day.

I understand perks as it relates to fighter killing fighters, but how are perks for resupply calculated?

Resupplying tends to give 3-12 point per load depending on the multiplier and the need of the base your dropping at.

At least that's what I've noticed.  When running multiple loads to the same base, you tend to get less points each run.  Or when several players are running sups, the first one to drop will get more points than the last person to drop.

Same...when sides are severely outnumbered I just start re supping once someone porks the base. Then in 10 minutes when the base is back up, the porker is going, what the hell? Goon or M3, depending on the perks I need (I need buff perks too).

None of the replys above have the best way to make quick easy GV perks.

Get a jeep with vehical supplies. Goto a strat use jeeps fifty cal to kill some buildings. Resupply your self and do it again. Used to produce right around fifty perks a run. Not sure if even works anymore though been well over a year since I last tried.

No, it doesn't work that way anymore because
- strats are almost unreachable most of the time, if you are very lucky and have the right (small) map you may can get to the HQ... in like 30 minutes. Not really "quick" ;)
- The flak towers will blow your jeep to smithereens if you actually get there.

Waystin had it right: The best way to get perks quickly is to up a wirbel and shoot enemies out of the sky. Much more efficient than running supps (which you still can do when no appropriate battle is at hand). Since the introduction of the WW, I never ever had to think about GV perks again, even after resetting my perks.

I always thought the best way to get vehicle perks was capturing a base; 12-25 perks per capture.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.
