Like the guy who HO's you on every pass and then salutes you for a good fight
That wasn't that good of a fight. The best fights are like the one I had on Wed's with an F4u. He never saw my gondo-laden G14 spiral down to his six. After I cut him in half with cannon fire, the salute went out. His was a good fight. I felt great seeing him go down - and what could be "gooder" than that? Okay, maybe chucking beer bottles at a moron is better than that, but what's better than that online - besides porn, of course?
But that hall-of-fame battle can hardly be compared to the really good fights you get when that last emplacement has been destroyed, the enemy field is deacked, and the vulch light is on. I admit to feeling genuine admiration for the brave pilots when they still up into the teeth of vulch after vulch. Damn, nat's good fightins! I salute you, Sir, is what I tell 'em after killing them as they struggle to get their engines lit. Sometimes, I'll send a personal message, too, just to lend the human touch. Usually, it's something like, "dear <>, I salute you, killing you made me feel real good about myself. Please try to up again. Thems good fightins."
Can we get some more newbies? Lately, the fights haven't had the old luster.
Your guys were just crybabies because they didn't get to vulch or ho you.
Incidentally, I recommend we have custom arenas where other players are forced to be immobile so that you can have "good fights" with 'em.
