Most of the time someone who tells you they are going to kill themself don't. Often those that say goodbye want attention to themselves or the problems they percieve in the game. I applaud those that try to make this a Better game with bug reports, suggestions, technical help or whatever. But the whiners get no respect.

If you find something better go do it.     :airplane:

  Good bye and......

Texasmom,
I am still having computer problems but all is well health wise I should be back in 2 weeks. Returning from San Diego in 2 weeks that is. I took my computer with me to see what I could do to solve this problem doing system restore step by step as AH updates came in to see when all this began and so far it starts at patch 2.3 after that no films are viewable and when I record system freezes for 45 seconds and I get a UDP dump to desk top. I am also having a new Sun room added to back of house and that will be a distraction in it self. Two huge civil suits are just around the corner also for work place injury to my neck and back resulting in bone fusion so add another distraction. If I can fly off line and record and view films with 2.8 patch I might come back at the request of my friend Uptown of which I will wing with him from now on when hes on.

Well you know what everyone calls me "A PICKTARD RUNSTANG" but we both know the only time I extennd is to isolate to a single for 1V1 or rtb with low fuel and near no ammo and I very rarely ask for help.

Before you edited the post and had it ending with "... in 2 weeks..." I thought it was the HTC joke. :)

Yeah, I'm glad Gaboon posted his leaving as I wouldn't have known otherwise. I talked to him on the phone last night, and he said he probably should of posted a little different, but he's really frustrated with having to work though all these bugs that are coming with the patches. And I have to agree that it does get old, constantly trying to tune your rig after these patches and updates.

The guy has a monster computer that should run this game as smooth as glass....but it won't. I'm trying to get him to stick around and tough it out. He's running Windows7 and I think that is most of the problem. It's just one thing after another with the updates. He lost him cool and posted here to let some steam off I think.

:airplane: Quite frankly doubt if he has a monster computer if he is having problems. I have never had a problem with updates and patches and am running windows 7 64bit  which is as stable as a rock. If he has enough CPU, video card and ram it will run full resolution just fine. Frame rate is always 59-60 no matter the situation. BTW describe monster computer....I run Core i7 running at 2.67 GHz, Nvidia GTX 285 video card and 6 GB ram and on a EVGA X58 motherboard.
BTW don't try to run this game wireless, it will run but much better if you hard wire to router.

Gaboon, fwiw, I'll be glad to see ya back ingame - had some fun fights with you in the past, and look forward to more in the future.

It's all unrealistic crap requested by people who want pie in the sky actions performed without an understanding of how things work and who can't grasp reality.

I know nothing about Windows7 and just a tad about XP, but what I do know is something as small as a player made sound pack can cause a performance hit. Not to mention background programs running and even the compatibility mode you have selected.

Granted they're are folks that can just unbox a computer and hit the ground running, but there's alot (like me), that have to learn this stuff through trial and error.

'Hopefully something better will come along in time.'

like maybe a life?  :P

Hey, if any of us had a life. None of us would be here. LOL
Death is no easy answer
For those who wish to know
Ask those who have been before you
What fate the future holds
It ain't pretty
