"PREDATOR" type images

Last nights blue arena map has some tree and vegetation image problems.
While driving a panzer to a97, some of the tree and brush patches had a look like the "predator" invisibility trick.(the "movie" predator had the ability to almost appear invisible) they completely stopped the tank as if hitting a wall. Other squadmates saw and had the same problem.

Tried to report this a few days ago but Photobucket wouldn't let me upload images (stupid internet).  Thanks for posting, reminded me to try again. :)    I assume you mean this:




That strange tan-ish thing floating there at the bottom left of the "tree" is the front end of a 251 stuck due to this "predator tree", it actually blocks "real-time world" and just shows the terrain behind it.

do you know where this was on what map? (near XXX spawn point, ect...) I'm looking for it, but so far haven't found the trees in questions.

Hey Waffle, there is the same issue in several places on the Baltic map.  I will doublecheck when I get home but I spawned north to V52  Saturday night and there is a big patch of trees with the same issue.  I have the film at home, just couldn't review as I need the latest patch. I will get you the exact location tonight.

While on the topic of small visual oddities, when a cruiser's gun is destroyed the barrels go all out of whack. However, the three shadows stay straight. Bit weird looking.

So this issue is not limited to the Baltic map as I noticed it quite a bit last night in the blue areana as well. :salute

I have also been noticing the "Predator" type trees and not just in the LW Blue Arena...saw it in Orange and in Midwar.  Just tryin to help.

From what I was told by support, there was a terrain file which is common for those trees which the Alpha channel was an issue. They stated that it was identified and will be fixed in next patch. Guess until then, stay away from the "funhouse mirror' trees!   :cheers:
