Yeah, a long barreled .500 would be a good hunting pistol, for BIG game, lol!  But I could feed and protect myself in the bush with a .44 or .357...  The short one like this, IMO is just a novelty gun.. Built for the WOW factor, which it does very well, lol!

I wonder what the .500 would be like in a carbine, like my Ruger .44 semi?  Mmmmmmm,   I like that idea!

Very nice revolver and quite the bargain! Shot more than a few hand cannons and they're all fun. For a while anyway

i think Puma, is cougar, is panther, just different parts of the country.. Think it varies tho, lol!
Mountain lion is a larger cousin, western states..  Cougar runs 80 to 120lbs, Mountain lion 100 to 180, have heard of larger, over 200, never seen one tho.. But have seen cat tracks that were close to 8 inches wide.. Thats a big one!  Makes you hair stand on end, knowing that one could be watching you at any time, and you'll never know it...

Sure, the name doesn't matter, I know what they mean, so whatever!
Yes they are beautiful, dangerous too!  But that is pretty cool in a "Zen" kinda way!  Knowing that I am not the alpha predator in the woods around here..  There are things out there that will hunt ME!
