Which "all those buffs" are you referring to?  Some German mediums could, but Allied 4 engined heavies
sure weren't supposed to.

u do know who the buffs are right?

Why do you think we enabled joining and leaving in flight. You only need some one else to gun for a few minutes.

Pretty much if I push through on a bomb run when I have enemies approaching then I accept the fact that I could get shot down in the bombsite. (If I don't have a gunner that is) I do not, for any reason, want OTTO manning my guns.

Otto currently mans the field ack at our bases....do you REALLY want him manning your bomber guns with his aim?  :D

No, but I would welcome him along for a ride in an AH Boulton Paul Defiant; I'd rapidly become the Ace of Aces, courtesy of Sergeant Air-Gunner Otto.

really, finding a gunner isnt really that difficult. and do we really want Otto gunning in our precious aircraft, considering he can barely hit a plane from a stationary gun. think how bad hed miss on a moving gun platform

i think it is so irritating when your in the bomb sight and a fighter attacks you and you get shot down before you get to drop your bombs or you have to miss the bomb run to shoot down the fighter and turn around and start over. :cry
